We're Not Even to 2011 and Saudi Arabia Goes Nuclear

I hadn't planned on posting another blog in 2010. My time lately has been spent in constructing a gymnasium addition to the Church I pastor. But that doesn't mean I have taken a break from scouring the internet for pertinent prophetic materials.

Voila! I found something that is extremely important.

Remember that I fully believe we are in store to witness two major wars in the Middle East. The first is what I call the Inner Ring War. Prophecy scholar, Bill Salus, actually first projected the fact that Psalm 83 describes a war that has not yet happened involving the nations directly bordering Israel. This passage, coupled with Isaiah 17 and the destruction of Damascus, portray a speedy, probably limited nuclear war between Israel and Syria. Ezekiel 25 and Zechariah 9 clarify the other nations involved; Lebanon, Jordan, Gaza, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. In this pitched battle, Jehovah will show his supremacy over Allah! Wow!

The second war is the long expected Ezekiel 38 and 39 war of Gog and Magog. This is the Outer Ring War that involves Turkey, Russia, Iran, Libya, and the horn of Africa.

Suddenly, with today's news, the Inner Ring War being nuclear is not such a stretch of the imagination. Read the following from Debkafile and you will understand what I am talking about. Not only is Iran about to go nuclear, Saudi Arabia is going to beat them to the achievement.

Pakistan makes two nuclear weapons available to Saudi Arabia

With an eye on the nuclear arms race led by its neighbor Iran, Saudi Arabia has arranged to have available for its use two Pakistani nuclear bombs or guided missile warheads, debkafile's military and intelligence sources reveal. They are most probably held in Pakistan's nuclear air base at Kamra in the northern district of Attock. Pakistan has already sent the desert kingdom its latest version of the Ghauri-II missile after extending its range to 2,300 kilometers. Those missiles are tucked away in silos built in the underground city of Al-Sulaiyil, south of the capital Riyadh.

At least two giant Saudi transport planes sporting civilian colors and no insignia are parked permanently at Pakistan's Kamra base with air crews on standby. They will fly the nuclear weapons home upon receipt of a double coded signal from King Abdullah and the Director of General Intelligence Prince Muqrin bin Abdel Aziz. A single signal would not be enough.
Our military sources have found only sketchy information about the procedures for transferring the weapons from Pakistani storage to the air transports. It is not clear whether Riyadh must inform Pakistan's army chiefs that it is ready to take possession of its nuclear property, or whether a series of preset codes will provide access to the air base's nuclear stores. The only detail known to our Gulf sources is that the Saudi bombs are lodged in separate heavily-guarded stores apart from the rest of Pakistan's nuclear arsenal.
This secret was partially blown by Riyadh itself. In recent weeks, Saudi officials close to their intelligence establishment have been going around security forums in the West and dropping word that the kingdom no longer needs to build its own nuclear arsenal because it has acquired a source of readymade arms to be available on demand. This broad hint was clearly put about under guidelines from the highest levels of the monarchy.

Partial nuclear transparency was approved by Riyadh as part of a campaign to impress on the outside world that Saudi Arabia was in control of its affairs: The succession struggle had been brought under control; the Saudi regime had set its feet on a clearly defined political and military path; and the hawks of the royal house had gained the hand and were now setting the pace.

2010 Natural Disasters: A Sign of the End?

As we wrap up the the first decade of the new century (depending on how you determine a decade), it is only fitting we look for signs that might help us gauge how close we are to the prophesied end of the age.

Many occurances stand out that easily qualify as biblically significant.

First on my list is the decline of a truly Biblical worlview among the citizens of the United States, and the resultant rise in false religions. That there is even consideration for building a mosque at ground zero in New York is evidence of a horrible decline in our Judeo/Christian ethic.

Second, and this rides on the heels of the first, is the worldwide rise of radical Islam. 9/11 was a reality check for America, but the resulting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan have ushered in a consolidation of radicalized Muslims who are willing martyrs in their mindless Jihad. Sadly, entire governments fall into this category. Iran, Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, and others notably fall into this Islamic mess, but all are prominent in Biblical, end time prophecy. These, plus Israel, are the nations to watch in the next few months.

The most significant event of the year is the number of natural disasters. The year 2010 was the deadliest in more than a generation. Earthquakes, heat waves, floods, volcanoes, super typhoons, blizzards, landslides and droughts killed more than 260,000 people. Last year only saw 15,000 deaths from natural disasters.
"It just seemed like it was back-to-back and it came in waves," said Craig Fugate, who heads the U.S. Federal Emergency Management Agency. It handled a record number of disasters in 2010. “The term '100-year event' really lost its meaning this year."
Most of the deaths were related to the January earthquake that struck Haiti. Because the vast majority of quakes follow a random pattern, their impact on populated areas is reduced. The Haiti trembler had the marking of judgment because it repeatedly hit the bull’s eye. It struck at the right depth, distance, and magnitude. When the Chile quake followed with a strength not seen in a decade, I could only wonder if a new level prophetic fulfillment is upon us.

So, how should we face what is ahead when the Bible says these types of events will only increase in frequency and intensity? Might I suggest a few practical steps.

1. Jesus told us in Matthew 24 that anti-Christian attitudes would increase as we close in on the rapture of the Church. In Matthew 6 we learn that we are blessed when we are persecuted for serving the Lord of Lords. James tells us to count it all joy when we encounter these, and various other trials. Rather than panic and fret, wringing our hands over nativities being removed from courthouse lawns, maybe we should smile and thank the Lord that we are counted worthy to suffer for his name sake. That doesn't mean we should forsake our civic responsibilities of keep Christ in the marketplace, but perhaps we should try not to be so fatalistic in our outlook.

2. If we are ever going to openly proclaim the saving grace of Jesus Christ and his gospel, we had better do it now. People are more open than ever, more receptive, and literally ready for the truth. Speak it...the gospel....with much love and patience.

3. Rely on the Spirit of God for everything! And I mean everything. Talk to him continually. Listen always. Be full of faith, not fear.

4. Share yourself with others, especially those who are hurting. Many have lost jobs, or have had hours cut back drastically. Bills can't be met. Folks are losing their homes. It will only get worse. Share. You can never be too generous. God loves a cheerful giver, and that doesn't just apply to how much you put in the offering plate at your church.

5. Increase you r personal prayer time, worship, and study of the scripture. You can't go wrong doing those three things.

6. Encourage one another by limiting your complaints and finding the positive in every situation. Be a joy giver, not a joy sucker.

Try those six things, and maybe you can add a few of your own. Go into 2011 with your eyes open for prophetic fulfillment and your heart full of love for your fellow human beings.

It Took Only Five Days to Come True

It only took five days. Yes, five days ago I reported that, due to an incredibly elevated number of Jordanians that are sympathetic to the radical regime in charge of Iran, it would not be long before Jordan succumbed and slid into the Iranian sphere. Well, it appears to have happened.

This column in yesterday's Jerusalem Post tells the story.

Slouching towards Teheran

Two weeks ago, Iran scored a massive victory. Jordan, the West’s most stable and loyal ally in the Arab world, began slouching towards the Iranian Gomorrah.
On December 12, Ahmadinejad’s chief of staff Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei met with Jordanian King Abdullah II in Amman and extended a formal invitation from Ahmadinejad for him to pay a state visit to Iran. Abdullah accepted.
According to Iran’s ISNA news agency, Mashaei said that Abdullah’s visit will begin a new page in bilateral relations and that “the two countries hold massive potential to work together.”
Mashaei added, “If Islamic states stand united, no country will be threatened.”
Abdullah reportedly said that his country recognizes Iran’s nuclear rights and supports its access to peaceful nuclear technology.
Abdullah was one of the first world leaders to sound the alarm on Iran. In 2004, Abdullah warned of a “Shi’ite crescent” extending from Iran to Iraq, through Syria to Lebanon. His words were well reported at the time. But his warning went unheeded.
In the intervening six years, reality has surpassed Abdullah’s worst fears. Not only Lebanon and Syria have fallen under Iranian control. Iraq, Turkey, Qatar, Gaza and increasingly Oman, Yemen and Afghanistan are also either willing or unwilling members of the axis.
In the face of Iran’s expanding web of influence and the mullahs’ steady progress towards nuclear capability, Washington behaves as though there is no cause for concern. And the likes of Jordan are beside themselves.

With the leadership in Washington being totally unreliable (possibly due to the fact that the Obama Administration has no clue what it is doing when it comes to the Middle East), it is understandable that Jordan thinks about its survival by bowing to the one power that seems to know exactly where it is going and what it wants to accomplish. It is also possible that Jordan sees that handwriting on the wall and has decided it must unite with Tehran or be destroyed. Obviously, no one from the West is going to come to Jordan, or Israel's rescue.

What a sad commentary on the joker in the White House!

Startling Poll in Jordan Show Sympathy Toward Hezbollah

Alarming Support for Shi'a Radicalism Found in Sunni Dominated Jordan

For months, the Psalm 83 prophecy of a war between Israel and its immediate neighbors has been growing every wider in our view screen. Companion verses in Isaiah 17, Ezekiel 25, and Jeremiah 12 clearly state who these neighbors are according to the people groups that inhabited these particular tracts of land. Here is what we know: Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Gaza, and parts of Saudi Arabia and Egypt, will be the attackers. God said in Ezekiel 25 that these nations will be destroyed, "by the hand of my people Israel."

Over the last year and a half we have seen all the pieces fall into place, with only one exception. Lebanon is now dominated by the Israeli-hating, Iranian-commanded Hezbollah. Gaza is controlled completely by radical Hamas. The Egyptian Negev is the home of the Islamic Brotherhood, as is the western desert of Saudi Arabia. We know Syria will pounce on Israel at the first opportunity.

The one hold out has been Jordan. Jordan is populated by mostly Sunni Muslims that are opposed to Shi'a radicalism. They are the more moderate form of Islam, as was Saddam Hussein. (I am not the one who decides which group is moderate or radical.) However, a new poll reveals a startling turn in Jordanian public opinion when it comes to Hezbollah and Hamas. I believe the research shows that although the Jordanian government is moderate, its people are becoming quite sympathetic to the radical organizations that want to destroy Israel.

This from the Jerusalem Post
"The Pew poll on public attitudes toward Islamism in Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon and Turkey shows that the radical Islamist side is winning.
"In Jordan, for example, 55 percent say they like Hizbullah (against 43% negative) while 60% are favorable (compared to 34% negative) toward Hamas. Yet this is even more impressive than the figures indicate. Jordan is a staunchly Sunni country whose government opposes the ambitions of Iran and Syria.

"Hizbullah is a Shi’ite group which also is an agent of Iran and Syria. For a majority to praise that organization – conscious of strong government disapproval – is phenomenal."

I am going so far as to suggest that all the pieces for the Psalm 83 Inner Ring War are in place. All that is needed is a spark for the fire to begin.

In the meantime as we focus on Christmas, remember that the only hope is found in a personal relationship with Messiah Yeshua, Jesus Christ of Nazareth! Pray harder than ever that both Jews and Muslims will find him before the prophesied cataclysms take place.

Signs of the Times Fortold Long Ago

One of the aspects of this blog is to watch certain signs of the times in order to ascertain how close we might be to the Lord's return for his church. The following article may not necessarily be s sign that Jesus is coming, but it is definitely a sign of our times, times that no longer make much sense.

Jesus warned us that someday, Christianity would not be popular. "Don't be alarmed when you are persecuted. They persecuted me, they'll persecute you. You are NOT above your master!" Stuff like that is ringing true. Nativity scenes are again being removed from government properties, and in some cases, kids backpacks. Why? Well you goof. Didn't you know that Christmas isn't really about Christ? Sheesh, Christmas is about greed, materialism, a fat dude abusing reign deer, and the outlawing of fast food. Plus, we can now pass the season knowing that absolutely no one has a clue what is going to happen next in the world.

One town in Oklahoma found out what you cannot do during the yuletide season.
PERKINS, Okla. -- A small-town bank in Oklahoma said the Federal Reserve won’t let it keep religious signs and symbols on display.

Federal Reserve examiners come every four years to make sure banks are complying with a long list of regulations. The examiners came to Perkins last week. And the team from Kansas City deemed a Bible verse of the day, crosses on the teller’s counter and buttons that say "Merry Christmas, God With Us." were inappropriate. The Bible verse of the day on the bank's Internet site also had to be taken down.

“I don’t think there should be a problem with them displaying whatever religious symbols they want to display,” said Amy Weierman, a Perkins resident.

Specifically, the feds believed, the symbols violated the discouragement clause of Regulation B of the bank regulations. According to the clause, "...the use of words, symbols, models and other forms of communication ... express, imply or suggest a discriminatory preference or policy of exclusion."

The feds interpret that to mean, for example, a Jew or Muslim or atheist may be offended and believe they may be discriminated against at this bank. It is an appearance of discrimination.

But customers Eyewitness News 5 talked to said they aren’t buying it.

“This is just ridiculous,” said bank customer Jim Nyles. “This whole thing is just ridiculous. We all have regulatory bodies that govern us. But this is too much.”

“I think that’s absurd,” said Chelsi Holser, a bank customer. “I don’t agree with it at all. They are taking Christ out of Christmas and life.”

The bank is quietly fighting for a clearer interpretation of the clause. Officials have contacted their two U.S. legislators, Rep. Frank Lucas and Sen. Jim Inhofe, and the Oklahoma Bankers Association to help.

EU Slams Israel

European Leaders Call Israel's Actions Illegal
In a statement approved by 26 ex-high ranking officials of the European Union, Israel is held solely responsible for the failure of direct talks between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. And Israel's communities and housing in the West Bank and Jerusalem are declared by these august critics as being illegal. This coming after Brazil, Argentina, and Uruguay recognize a Palestinian State based on the 1967 pre-war borders.
The EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs issued this statement:
"I note with regret that Israel has not been in a position to accept an extension of the moratorium as requested by the US, the EU and the Quartet. The EU position on settlements is clear: they are illegal under international law and an obstacle to peace. Recent settlement related developments, including in East Jerusalem, contradict the efforts by the international community for successful negotiations.
We must spare no effort to get negotiations back on track on all final status issues. There is no alternative to a negotiated two state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. I am in close contact with the US, in coordination within the Quartet, and working with the parties and partners in the region to continue to work toward the objective of a negotiated peace."

In this and other statements East Jerusalem includes the Temple Mount, the Western Wall.

While this is no surprise this statement and the agreement of other European leaders is part of an aggressive campaign to undermine Israel's legitimacy. Calling housing in East Jerusalem or The West Bank "illegal" is not true. Holding Israel solely responsible for talks, when the Palestinian Authority issued a report that Jerusalem has never been Jewish, is the height of hypocrisy.
It is also important to keep in mind that this "policy" statement comes in the shadow of Latin American countries recognizing a Palestinian Statement. The EU did not see the need to denounce this illegal act.

Botch One Mission: So Let's Move to the Next

Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, today announced the end of US efforts in the stalled Israeli/Palestinian peace negotiations, at least in the current track.

Remember that Obama stupidly (a word he has used, so I feel free to do likewise) raised the settlement freeze issue as being absolutely necessary for any positive movement in making peace. Of course, the Palestinians jumped on the error and based all negotiations on Israel freezing the settlements. Israel wisely refused to bow!

Thus, negotiations have stalled beyond repair....again. I say 'good for Israel' in not making another horrible concession.

One would have hoped that the Obama administration might have learned the simplest, and most singular rule in diplomatic negotiations. Never show your hand! In fact, rule #1 is to keep your mouth shut as an intermediary. Oops.

So, Obama is removing himself from Middle East meddling? NOPE

Now he (and Clinton) have decided to help Turkey and Israel restore their rift. Please say it isn't so! But nay, 'tis so. And how will they achieve such a reparation? According to Mrs. Clinton, the hope for Middle East will be focused in helping Iran realize that Russia and China really would like to do the refining of Iran's uranium.

Yep, that's it! Forget attempting to prevent Iran from becoming nuclear. No, let's offer a deal.

"Hey, Mahmoud buddy, look, we'll refine your uranium for you if you'll just use it to power your electrical plants. Shoot, pal, we'll even pay for it. Why don't you talk with my girl Hillary. You two can work it out while I continue splitting the democratic party, all nationalities within the confines of the United States, and one ally from another though our wikileaks leaks. Hey, then I'll take a vacation."

For the good of the known world, PLEASE Mr. President, take an extended vacation that lasts until 2012!

And that, my friend, is my opinion.

Iranian Yellow Cake.... .Not for Public Consumption!

The Iranian government announced yesterday that it had completed production of its first batch of yellow cake, refined uranium needed in constructing a nuclear weapon. Intelligence experts are now saying that Iran is as close as TWO WEEKS away from refining that yellow cake to the 90% purity needed for the bomb.

So far, no word is coming out of Washington or Jerusalem, but this is a major step forward in Iran's program to terrorize the world.

Debkafile is also making a bold statement concerning Barack Obama's ridiculous sanctions, stating;

"It turns out, according to our sources, that the sanctions the UN, US and other nations had clamped down on Iran this year acted as a sharp spur to its nuclear progress rather than slowing it down."

If Iran is allowed to produce nuclear weapons, it really isn't going to matter how long the Bush Tax Cuts are in place. We are talking the necessity of a preemptive strike to avert an Iranian strike against Israel. At the very least, Iran will use such weapons as a tool for blackmail and terror. Nuclear chief says Iran to process own raw uranium

Get this! Iran's nuclear chief says scientists have delivered the first domestically produced raw uranium to a facility that starts the process of nuclear fuel production.

The step displays Iran's determination to become nuclear self-sufficient, including by enriching uranium, just a day before world powers meet with Iranian officials in another attempt to persuade them to give up the technology.

Though Tehran again declared its nuclear program as strictly domestic and peaceful, most of the world sees this step as another "thumb in the eye" by Iran. There is little wonder that even the Arab countries near Iran pleaded with the US to attack the nuclear processing sites. Why didn't Washington act? Neither George W. Bush, or Barrack Obama, took the step to use military force to thwart the radical Ahmadenijad regime. Further, both administrations retrained Israel from acting on its own behalf.

The prospects of a nuclear weapon being used against Israel have moved from the possible to the probable!

Hariri Caves to the Ayatollah

The past few days have been filled with extraordinary events. North Korea launches an artillery attack against South Korea, stirring up the angst of just about every nation in the world but China. President Obama gives control of the NATO anti ballistic shield covering eastern Europe to Turkey. An Iranian scientist reveals that Iran's nuclear program is for the sole purpose of developing nuclear weapons. Wikileaks.....LEAKS, causing the Obama Administration to appear, once again, weak and helpless.

Today, we find that Lebanese Prime Minister Hariri went to Iran and was told by the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khameni, that he has no other option but to fully integrate the Lebanese military into Hizbollah, of course, controlled by Iran and Mahmoud Ahmadenijad. The Hizbollah is the fully radicalized terrorist army, trained and commanded by the Iranians, developed to destroy Israel. Not only that, but several days ago I reported that the Palestinian radicals, Hamas, had finally taken the step of their command and control with Hizbollah.

As of today, three of the five people groups bordering Israel are now radicalized and under orders from Teheran. (The Isamic Jihad in the Sinai, Hamas in the Gaza Strip, and Hizbollah of Lebanon.) Jordan and Saudi Arabia are the last roadblocks to Iranian domination of the Inner Ring. Jordanian and Saudi Arabian intents to remove Iran as a threat by means of the Americans and/or Israelis, as revealed by the Wikileaks...LEAKS, has now placed them in the cross hairs of radicalism. To be sure, Sunni radicals are already joining forces with Shia radicals to bring about the demise of Israel...and the Great Satan. Islamic radicalism is Islamic radicalism, no matter the brand.

What does this mean for Israel?

I believe it is another step to an inevitable war described in Psalm 83, Ezekiel 25, Isaiah 17, Zephaniah 2, and Zechariah 9. Although we cannot put dates on God's timetable unless he reveals it, one thing is certain, this war is fast approaching. The aftermath will leave the world with its mouth hanging open in awe and fear of how Israel rises to prominence.

Peace Talks are a Sham

It's all a sham, a scam, and a crying shame that our current leadership simply doesn't want to open their eyes to the truth.

In fact, our leadership over the last two decades attempted to create peace with the same blinders on.

First, it was Yasser Arafat--the hero, icon, and face of Palestine. HE WAS A TERRORIST. Not once did he negotiate in good faith. Never would he acknowledge Israel's right to exist. O, he would talk a good talk when in the Western media spotlight, but with his own people his talk was always on the destruction of Israel and the removal of all Jews from the Holy Land.

His organization....Fatah....continues the same.

The Fatah Revolutionary Council concluded its fifth convention in Ramallah over the weekend by declaring its refusal to recognize Israel as a Jewish state. The Palestinians are opposed to any understandings between Israel and the US that could harm their interests, the council said.
As quoted in today's Jerusalem Post:
“The council affirms its rejection of the so-called Jewish state or any other formula that could achieve this goal,” said a statement issued by the council. The council also renews its refusal for the establishment of any racist state based on religion in accordance with international law and human rights conventions.”
Once again, the Palestinians have achieved their goal of clouding the issue of human rights, and the world listens.

Why do we not hear a cry for human rights every time a rocket is fired from Gaza into the civilian population of Israel? Where were the human rights activists when Palestinians were blowing themselves up on buses filled with Israeli Jews? Why is it a human rights violation for Israelis to build apartments in their capitol of Jerusalem? hmmm Why is our President, as was his predecessors, so blind to the truth?

One good thing....they are all fulfilling Bible prophecy without an awareness that they are doing so. Both Psalm 83 and the Ezekiel 38 and 39 prophecies clearly explain that the world will turn against Israel.

Peace talks notwithstanding, the world, by-in-large, is turning against Israel.

My question: Are you continuing to pray for the peace of Jerusalem?

North Korean Action a Pre-cursor?

I found this article in the Jerusalem Post both as a true statement, and as a warning! The way in which Barack Obama has reacted to the North Korean attacks on South Korea will have a profound effect on Iran's speed of purpose.

On the face of it, what happened between the Koreas greatly resembled what we here have experienced almost routinely at times – out-of-the-blue, unprovoked shelling of civilians by apparently inscrutable and fanatical enemy forces.
Israelis – North and South – have found themselves targeted by rockets, mortars and sniper fire so frequently that we’ve learned to take such incidents almost in our stride. So has the rest of the world. Often Kassams, Grads and other assorted projectiles lobbed into Israel from Gaza and Lebanon fail to get so much as a mention in foreign news outlets.
The Korean confrontation, however, appeared to shake the world, to the extent of triggering a downward slide in leading stock markets. Governments outdid each other in censuring Pyongyang’s aggression. In our case, the widespread reaction is to generally downplay Arab aggression, fault the victim (Israel) and warn Israel not to retaliate.
This double standard is particularly unfortunate given the similarities of the two situations. Both South Korea and Israel face implacable enemies with tyrannical regimes, ostensibly impervious to Western reasoning and not readily predictable. In both instances the danger of nuclear weapons looms large.
JUST BEFORE last week’s onslaught, North Korea showed off 2,000 uranium-enrichment centrifuges and the initial construction of a 100-megawatt light-water reactor to visiting American scientists. Concomitantly, Israel is menaced by Iranian efforts to amass nuclear prowess.
Indeed, North Korea reportedly exports nuclear knowhow and ballistic missile technology to both Iran and Syria. The Syrian reactor destroyed by Israel in 2007 was constructed according to North Korean blueprints.

Pyongyang’s finger stirs many a Mideastern plot.

Both North Korea and its Mideastern associates are testing the limits of world tolerance, attempting to gauge how far they can go with impunity. It’s no stretch to suggest that Teheran and Damascus carefully monitor every nuance of Washington’s response to Pyongyang’s actions.
They must have derived satisfaction following Pyongyang’s boasting about its expanded nuclear program, when US special envoy for North Korea Stephen Bosworth declared that “This is not a crisis.”
It needs be remembered that despite heavy sanctions, the number and scale of North Korean provocations has only increased of late. North Korea tests nuclear devices and ballistic missiles, and last March one of its submarines sank a South Korean naval vessel.
North Korea is Iran’s role model for bamboozling the US and getting away with it. Yet Washington, merely sending an aircraft carrier into the area, looks set to let Kim Jong Il continue to get away with quite a bit, as long as he doesn’t overly embarrass it with barefaced gamechanging.
The Obama administration has ways of underscoring unmistakably vigorous messages both to Pyongyang and to Teheran. A feeble American reply in East Asia would dangerously embolden West Asia’s ayatollahs.

If Kim can thumb his nose at Obama, so can Ahmadinejad. And Ahmadinejad is watching attentively.

In fact, most analysts agree that, for all his bravado, Kim is less likely to cross the Rubicon and instigate war than are rogue Islamic regimes vowing to erase Israel off the map. Nuclear weapons in Iranian hands would make this an exceedingly more insecure world than do such weapons in North Korean possession.
This is America’s foremost challenge – even if, disconcertingly, it sometimes sounds as though the greatest danger to world peace stems from apartment construction in some east Jerusalem Jewish neighborhoods.

FOR ISRAEL, South Korea is the model we must strenuously avoid emulating. South Korea is a blackmailed nation, compelled to take it on the chin from its northern sister lest it inflame a dreadful – perhaps nuclear – confrontation.
Israel cannot afford a nuclear Iran, which would change the regional balance of power at a stroke, embolden Teheran to pursue its expansionist ambitions and impose South Korean-style constraints upon our self-defense. We can tolerate constraints immeasurably less than Seoul, whose population isn’t threatened with outright physical annihilation.
Winning the face-off against Iran requires intensified US-led international sanctions, backed by a credible threat of military action; the more credible that threat, the less likely it would have to be realized. Similar US-led resolution in the case of North Korea would send an important signal to Iran.

Tel Aviv Within Range of Iranian-bulit Missiles

This holiday, we truly have many things to be thankful for. We are still relatively free as a nation (the TSA outbreak notwithstanding), there is still food on the table, and Jesus is still alive and reigning; definite reasons for gratitude. But there is also a horizon before us that should make our hearts well up with joy...not fear...not apprehension.

Syrian, Hizballah's guided missiles defy Israel's aerial supremacy

debkafile's military sources report: Syria and Hizballah now possess thousands of surface missiles from Iran with enhanced ranges of up to 300 kilometers and they are being outfitted by Iranian engineers with guidance systems. The new guided Fateh-110, M-600 and Scud D missiles hardware can pinpoint any part of Israel within a 10-meter radius in defiance of Israel's aerial and anti-missile capabilities, say Israeli and Western missile experts. Hizballah and Syria have been furnished by Iran with the means for fighting a new, far more comprehensive war.

All of Syria's chemical Scud C and D warheads have been converted into guided missiles, and so have the 1,000 Scud Ds kept in Syrian bases near the Lebanese border ready to push across to Hizballah in a military confrontation with Israel, which Hassan Nasrallah said ten days ago he would welcome.

During the three-week war of 2006, Hizballah launched 500 rockets a day - relying on sheer, terrifying numbers against populated areas, mostly in the North - to bring Israeli armed forces low.

A dozen a day of the guided, long-range weapons would do far more damage, say our military sources. Iran's allies would likely go for Greater Tel Aviv in order to sow demoralization in the most densely populated part of Israel and devastate its industrial and financial centers.

Earlier this month, Israel's Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Gaby Ashkenazi, said it was possible that in the next war, large segments of the population would have to be evacuated from their homes.
Former head of the Israel Mission Defense Organization Uzi Rubin said recently: "The enemy has achieved aerial supremacy without even having aircraft." Iran's fully-guided Fateh-110 rocket would enable Hizballah and Syria to strike critical Israeli facilities with dozens rather than hundreds of rockets, he said.
Hizballah and Syria have 1,500 warheads that could strike the Tel Aviv area. "This is a revolution," said the missile expert.
debkafile's military sources note that Rubin did not mention Israel's missile and rocket defense systems, the Arrow, Iron Dome and David's Sling, as able to thwart the new Syrian and Hizballah guided weapons – for good reason. Those systems are not up to intercepting heavy hails of thousands of incoming missiles. Even if only scores reached their targets, the damage would be tremendous.

As for aerial strikes against launching sites, Hizballah has dismantled its missile bases and scattered the warheads widely apart in underground bunkers and natural caverns, from which they can be launched.

I am Now OFFICIALLY Outraged

This is another "I WARNED YOU ABOUT THIS" moment. Nearly one year ago, when the Tea Party was beginning to boil, and anti-Obamamania was getting reved up, I warned that if the President took a political hit at home, he would then head overseas to do even more harm.

NOW HE'S GONE AND DONE IT AGAIN!

While in Lisbon, Portugal, hobnobbing with Turkish President Gul (shown in the picture), Obama has agreed to place Turkey in control of the new NATO missile shield. Here is what he said.

"For the first time we've agreed to develop a missile defense capability that is strong enough to cover all Nato European territory and populations as well as the United States."
Here's what he didn't say.
The President bowed to Gul's demand to omit Iran, Syria and their ballistic missiles as a threat from the NATO agreement to establish a missile shield base in Turkey. President Barak Obama has devalued any US security guarantees offered Israel - as well as negating the facility's avowed purpose. The missile shield and its location in Europe were conceived in the first place for detecting and defusing Iranian and Syrian ballistic missile before they reached Europe or the United States. But not now!
debkafile's military sources report that the covert clauses in the deal additionally provide for the missile base to come under the command of a Turkish general. President Abdullah Gul held out on this point in discussions with President Obama and NATO leaders, following the lead given him by Prime Minister Tayyep Erdogan of Monday, Nov. 15: "Turkey would demand that NATO assign a Turkish commander to oversee the shield. Especially if this is to be place on our soil…," said Erdogan.

Turkey's leaders are very close to the Islamic Republic's extremist rulers and see nothing amiss in their deploying large portions of Iran's missile arsenal on Syrian and Lebanese soil (in Hizballah's keeping). A Turkish general in command of the NATO missile shield cannot be expected to regard threatening missile action by Iran, Syria or Hizballah in the same light as would President Obama or NATO Secretary-General Andres vog Rasmussen. He would simply follow the orders of his own prime minister.

So NATO's forward missile interceptor may be physically and technically located in Turkey but, under a Turkish commander, its usefulness as an operational shield for the West against the most concrete perils facing NATO members is nil.
In these circumstances, there is not much point in Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu holding out for American security guarantees, even after the US State Department spokesman stated Friday, Nov. 19, "The United States is prepared to offer Israel written security guarantees if it would help to restart stalled Middle East peace talks."
Those guarantees were awarded Turkey at the NATO summit in Lisbon and, by extension, to Iran, Syria and their radical allies, whose missiles are poised on Israel's borders facing in only one direction .
It is important to remember that American missile defense systems are closely inter-linked with and slotted into corresponding Israeli missile interceptors, air defenses and intelligence. How can this vital collaboration continue after a Turkish commander has his hand on the levers of NATO's defense shield for the United States and Europe?
This is absolutely incredible, and TOTALLY Unreported by the US mainstream media.

I am now officially outraged! The door is now wide open for Iran and Syria, once Iran has completed a nuclear weapon (Which the highest level Israeli military intelligence says has already been accomplished), to launch a nuclear-tipped ballistic missile against Israel.

How much longer can Benjamin Netanyahu afford to wait? Hizbollah and Hamas are poised for battle. Syria is ready. Iran is prodding and provoking. The Saudis have subtly stepped in to prevent a pro-western government in Lebanon from attempting to throttle the Hizbollah. Islamic extremists in the Sinai side of Egypt are threatening Israeli travelers. How long before Psalm 83 becomes a reality? When will Isaiah 17 be fulfilled by Israel's destruction of the Damascus threat?

Only God knows, but we sure seem to be heading toward the Inner Ring war at breakneck speed.

Obama Stays the Course to Divide Israel

Wasn't it nice to have Barack Obama out of the country, even if it only lasted a few days? To bad he had to visit the most populated Muslim country in the world to diss Israel over the settlement issue again.

For decades, no US President equated Jewish settlements in Jerusalem with the peace process. Barack has focused solely on this one issue....the right of Jews to settle in their own capitol city, a capitol belonging to them for over 5000 years.

But that's not all. This guy gets walloped in the mid-term elections. His own party is trying to find a way to dump him. But still, he persists in doing exactly the wrong thing morally and Biblically.

Now, he has decided to send Benjamin Netanyahu his vision on the new borders between Israel and the State of Palestine, something that does not exist! He seems hell-bent (no pun there) on testing the patience of God. Joel 3 says the dividing of the land belonging to Israel will be the prime catalyst for the march to Armageddon. Talk about a destructive nature....Barack H. Obama has it!

Obama to present US Israel-Palestinian border map within 3 months

Washington sources disclose that the three-month settlement construction freeze-for-incentives deal Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu discussed with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Friday, Nov. 12, also included a commitment to hold Israel-Palestinian negotiations on the two states' final borders during that period. Assuming the talks collapse, the Obama administration will take the initiative of delineating those borders and present its own map to both sides before the three months are up.
Our sources disclose that the boundaries the US map will adhere a lot more closely to Palestinian territorial aspirations than to Israel case. While no one is talking about imposing it on Israel, a rejection by the Netanyahu government would place it on a collision course with the Obama White House.

Word about Obama's planned map was not relayed to the Israeli cabinet Sunday, Nov. 14 when Netanyahu reported to the cabinet on his talks with US leaders last week, our Jerusalem sources report.

According to our Washington sources, Obama believes that leaving Israel with no more than 4-4.5 percent of the pre-1967 West Bank area should satisfy its essential security requirements. In terms of population, this would entail the evacuation of dozens of settlements plus two important towns, Efrat in Gush Etzion in the south which has a population of 8,000, and Ariel in Samaria which has 20,000 inhabitants.

For Washington, it is the Palestinians who are laying down the law. After his ultimatum on construction was accepted as an obstacle to talks, the Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas now warns Washington that if every last Jewish resident is not cleared from Ariel, there will be no peace accord.
