Psalm 83 "Inner Ring" adds Consolidation

Under a picture of Syrian President Bashar Assad, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem, right, kisses his Lebanese counterpart Fawzi Salloukh, left, after they signed a joint document announcing the start of diplomatic relations between Syria and Lebanon, in Damascus.
This may seem like an development that isn't newsworthy, but it actually is an important step in consolidating the Psalm 83 coalition. I call it the "Inner Ring," as it represents the nations that directly surround Israel.
Something few have failed to realize is that the governments of Syria and Lebanon have not had a direct diplomatic relationship since the 1982 war. If you recall, Syria invaded Lebanon, shortly followed by Israel's blocking move that prevented Syria from overwhelming its neighbor. The United States attempted to intervene with a peace-keeping mission headed by Marines that ended when a truck bomber blew up the Marine barracks. Since then, Lebanon has gone through numerous governments because of political turmoil instigated by Syria-Iranian-backed Hezbollah.
The fact that an agreement has been made to restart a diplomatic relationship is another in a line of dominoes that have fallen. It began with Saudi Arabia normalizing relationships with Syria. The second step involved the "Outer Ring" country of Turkey. The alliance with Israel took a sour turn and Syria became the recipient of Turkish amore. Now, Syria and Lebanon are playing nice after nearly three decades of enmity.
As I said in an earlier blog, watch for the last piece of the puzzle to find a fit. Who? Psalm 83 lists the Hagrites (Hagarenes), and Amalek as being part of the coalition. Both these people groups dwelt in the region between the southern Negev and the Nile River of Egypt. Egypt will be the next, and last to join the "Inner Ring" coalition. Keep your eyes open. Events are happening rapidly, even if they are behind the scenes.

Who'da Thunk It

Imagine that. Mahmaud Ahmadinijad is thumbing his nose at the Obama administration and international community. They are shocked and taken aback it seems. But why? Iran has said since the moment this worthless diplomatic exercise was initiated that it would not budge on its nuclear ambitions. The man be stark raving mad, but he is obviously not a liar. (Odd combo) Why then does the west seem oblivious? Are the current leaders in the White House that dumb?
I'll leave you to answer that on your own. I will guard my own opinion for now! Read the following from the Oct. 29 Jerusalem Post, and please understand that this is simply one big tactic for delay. Ahmadinijad will hold the world at bay while it attempts to complete its refinement of uranium. The GOAL? Nuclear Bombs!
Ahmadinejad: 'We will not retreat even an iota' on nuclear rights
By AP AND JPOST.COM STAFF

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Thursday his country "will not retreat even an iota" on its nuclear rights, but added that the West had moved "from confrontation to interaction" with Iran over its controversial uranium enrichment, which he called the nation's "inalienable right."

Speaking to a rally in the northeastern city of Mashhad, Ahmadinejad said that "ground has been paved for nuclear cooperation" and Teheran was ready to work on nuclear
fuel supplies and technical know-how with the UN's nuclear watchdog. He added that Iran welcomed the international offer to ship out 70 percent of its enriched uranium to Russia for further enrichment, but was unspecific as to whether the Islamic republic would sign the deal. On Thursday afternoon, Reuters reported that the nation had handed the International Atomic Energy Agency its response to the UN deal, citing state-owned Al-Alam TV. There was no information on the content or nature of the response, and no official confirmation had yet been made by the IAEA. Iran has been considering the deal - which Western leaders hope will ease concerns over Teheran's controversial nuclear program - for a week.

One fact: Today is the deadline for an Iranian response set by President Obama. (Evidently, the Iranians have been delayed because they have been overwhelmed by Obama-generated fear. So much so, they haven't been able to respond.)

On Another Note: Within a week I am going Global. I know that sounds like a disease, but it is actually something good and exciting. I have been invited, and have accepted the opportunity to host a talk radio show on Global Talk Radio. This is internet radio. The show will stream live, yet be available to hear at any time by linking to the site. The show will be called World News and Bible Prophecy. The emphasis? Current World Events and how they align with Bible Prophecy. Although, for now, I will not be able to take live call-ins, you can post a question that you would like to be "talked over" on the show by emailing me at a special email address. Here it is. jimmyrootjr@gmail.com Note: you may know the answer to the question, but try to think like a listener who may not have a Biblical worldview, yet wants to know what's going on in the world. The first show should be airing the first week in November, so stay tuned and I'll be giving you the URL.
Keep your eyes on the headlines and your heart in the Bible!

The Harping You Hear is the Truth

I know I keeping sounding off on an issue the rest of the world seems to be ignoring. Perhaps that is because the world is Biblically illiterate. The Bible holds no relevance, nor does God, at least to those who "professing themselves to be wise have become fools."
The question is not belief, but the relevance of the Truth. The Bible is the Truth, the written Word of God that will stand forever. Therefore, the prophecies contained therein are part and parcel to the Truth. Though it would be convenient to ignore the fulfillment of those prophecies, we are admonished by the Word itself to be ALERT, WATCHFUL, AWARE....and so on and so forth. For a few weeks now I have been attempting to sound an alert about an important prophetic fulfillment. It concerns a long-missing piece of the Ezekiel 38 and 39 puzzle, namely, Turkey!
Turkey is listed as a member nation of the Magog coalition. It's ancient names are Gomer and Togarmah, sons of Japheth that settled in the region that stretches from west of the Black Seat to east of the Caspian Sea. Scholars have wrestled over the identification of Gomer and Togarmah for years, but all are agreed that the Turkey is at least part of that identification. Until the last few months, Turkey has been an ally and trading partner with Israel. It had leaned pro-west for the last two decades. It is a member of NATO and has sought membership in the European Union, that is until the radical Islamist bent Tayyip Erdagon was elected as the Turkish Prime Minister. (READ the last few blogs on Turkey to learn more.)
I have been watching closely for Turkey's turn away from Israel and to the Islamic coalition that will be led by Russia. (Not so strange when you realize much of the Russian Federation is made up of Islamic Republics.) It began in January when Israel finally invaded Gaza to stop the launching of missiles at civilians. Two weeks ago, Turkey kissed up to Syria after years of animus. NOW...it is IRAN getting the hugs and kisses. Read the article below from today's Jerusalem Post (Oct. 26, 2009) and you will see why I now believe the turning of Turkey (no pun intended) is complete. This is a slam dunk for Magog. (Actually, God is the one orchestrating the events. Magog just thinks he is winning.)
Ahmadinejad: 'The Zionist regime is a threat to all nations'
By AP AND JPOST.COM STAFF

"The Zionist regime is a threat to all nations ... it cannot tolerate the existence of any strong country in the region," said Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Tuesday, according to Teheran news agency Press TV.

Ahmadinejad spoke after welcoming Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who arrived in Teheran Tuesday for a two-day visit.
Iran's president praised Erdogan's stance over Israeli-Palestinian conflict, saying the Turkish leader's "clear stance toward the Zionist regime has had a positive impact on the world of Islam."
At an international conference in January, Erdogan strongly condemned Israel's offensive in Gaza and the steep Palestinian casualties inflicted there. The Iranian leader is known for his anti-Israeli remarks since 2005, when he said the Jewish state should be "wiped off the map."

Ahmadinejad lashed out at Israel, which is believed to have nuclear weapons, saying that when an "illegal regime has atomic weapons, it's impossible to block others" from having peaceful nuclear energy.
The Iranian leader was echoing statements voiced by Erdogan in the Guardian on Monday, accusing the five permanent Security Council members of hypocrisy. While these countries put pressure on Iran, which does not have "a weapon," he said, they themselves keep nuclear arsenals for military purposes.

During the Guardian interview, Erdogan also referred to reports saying Israel or other Western countries were planning to carry out what he termed a "crazy" attack against Iran in lieu of sanctions or negotiations.
"On the one hand you say you want global peace, on the other hand you are going to have such a destructive approach to a state which has 10,000 years of history. It is not correct," he was quoted as saying, adding that Ankara was firm in its belief that Teheran's nuclear program was peaceful.
Ahmadinejad reportedly suggested that if Turkey and Iran "reinforce their unity, they will overcome serious threats and make use of opportunities in favor of their own nations."
So, there you have it. The alliance is forming. Things are happening at lightning speed, so don't forget to look up once in a while to see that your redemption is drawing near. (Remember that nothing stands in the way of the imminent return of Jesus for his Bride.)
What's next? I am so glad that God is the one ordering events and we can do nothing more than speculate upon the intricacies of prophecy. We have the BIG PICTURE, but each little step is barely educated guesswork. However, the Lord calls us to some very specific duties as we watch this drama unfold. They are;
1. "Abide in Me, and I will abide in you."
2. "Make disciples of all nations."
3. "Pray that the Lord of the harvest will send forth workers."
4. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself."
5. "Watch and pray!"
6. "Obey!"
7. "Do not fear."
(This by no means is an exhaustive list....there isn't enough room in the blog to relate all that Jesus commanded. I recommend the four gospels for intensive study:)

NEWS Beyond the Mainstream

Three bits of news today, news that demonstrates the fact that Israel is being backed into a corner. At some point, they are going to react, and when they do, things are going to get nasty extremely quickly.

NEWS Item One:

New Iranian missiles for Gaza, Syria tops up Hizballah's rocket stocks
DEBKAfile Exclusive Report
October 26, 2009

Iran is making a huge effort to smuggle to the Palestinian Hamas Fajr-5 ground-to-ground rockets that bring Tel Aviv within range of the Gaza Strip. DEBKAfile's military sources also disclose that Syria, Iran's second ally with an Israeli border, has decided to transfer one-third of its missile stockpile to the Hizballah in Lebanon, topping up its arsenal with medium-range rockets that can cover central as well as northern Israel, which was heavily blitzed in the 2006 war.
Israel's top strategists are studying these massive missile transfers to hostile entities to find answers to a number of key questions:
1. Syria has destined some 250 surface missiles of its stockpile of 800 for Hizballah. Are they Scuds B, C and D whose ranges exceed 800 kilometers, or Iranian-Syrian made projectiles whose range is shorter?
2. Do the transfers mean Iran and its allies are gearing up for a major Middle East conflict in the months ahead, possibly in early 2010?
3. Will Syria hand over to Hizballah some of its chemicals-tipped missiles?
4. Will some batteries be installed atop the mountain ranges running down central Lebanon, together with air defense systems supplied at the same time by Syria?
Israel is particularly concerned by the Lebanese Druze leader Walid Jumblatt's recent decision to turn coat against the pro-Western camp led by Saad Hariri in favor of deals with Tehran and Damascus.

Incorporated in these under-the-counter deals are secret military clauses which permit Hizballah to deploy its missiles on highlands of his Druze fief. Israel would think twice at least before attacking areas populated by Druze villages. In the south, Iran's Revolutionary Guards terrorist arm, the Al Qods Brigades, its bending all its smuggling resources to getting the Fajr-5 missiles into the Gaza Strip, thereby extending Hamas' rocket range to 75 kilometers and central Israel. According to our intelligence sources, the rockets are traveling by sea from Iran to Hamas training bases in Sudan, dismantled into 8-10 segments , transported to the northern shores of the Gulf of Suez and unloaded in Sinai. From there the segments move through tunnels into the Gaza Strip.Military sources wonder what the Netanyahu government is doing to halt the missile stranglehold tightening around Israel. Nothing is apparent as yet.

NEWS Item Two

French FM: "Israel will not tolerate an Iranian bomb"
DEBKAfile Special Report
October 26, 2009

French foreign minister Bernard Kouchner warned that Iran's nuclear ambitions have started a "race to confrontation" with Israel and the world's leading powers must break the deadlock before the Jewish state "reacts."
The French minister added: "There is the time that Israel will offer us before reacting because Israel will react as soon as they know clearly that there is a threat. They will not tolerate an Iranian an Iranian bomb," he stressed. "We know that, all of us. So that is an additional risk and that is why we must decrease the tension and solve the problem."
Kouchner spoke after Iran's state TV commented: Soon enough, the White House will have to come to terms with the fact that Tehran will not abandon its nuclear program, as the government and Iranians in general wholeheartedly believe that the nuclear right is an inalienable one.
A UN nuclear watchdog team paid their first visit to the previously hidden uranium enrichment site near Qom Sunday Oct. 25 and expects to inspect the site again in the next two days. Iran claims that the Fordo plant, which is burrowed deep into a mountainside and housed in a military complex, will not be operational for another 18 months. Tehran agreed to the inspection three weeks ago, which according to DEBKAfile's sources, was time enough to make changes and remove or conceal incriminating evidence from the inspectors' eyes.

NEWS Item Three:

Iran buys North Korean WMD for Syria, midget submarines for both
DEBKAfile Special report
October 25, 2009

The US Congressional Research Service reveals that Iran has helped Syria obtain "various forms of weapons of mass destruction" and missiles, as well as buying midget submarines - all from North Korea.
DEBKAfile's military sources report that the North Korean miniature subs are capable of dropping small teams of commando forces on enemy shores, damaging large warships and mining the approaches of naval bases and harbors. They are capable of sowing EM-52 "rising mines" originally developed by China, which lurk on deep sea beds until triggered by a passing ship to release a missile which shoots up to strike its hull.
This weapon substantially enhances the Syrian and Iranian navies' menace, a development Israel will have take into account in the defenses of its Mediterranean naval bases and commercial ports.
The US CRS notes" Iran purportedly has acted as an intermediary with North Korea to supply Syria with missiles and various forms of WNMD, without specifying whether they are nuclear, chemical or biological.
To keep one of its few allies close, Tehran uses Syria as a "transit point for Iranian weapons shipments to Hizballah and both countries see Hizballah as leverage against Israel to achieve their regional and territorial aims."
The report sees the Obama administration's engagement with Syria as a bid to draw Damascus to loosen its bonds with Tehran, but sees little chance of this effort succeeding.
On Oct. 20, DEBKAfile's military sources disclosed that Syria, Iran's second ally with an Israeli border, has decided to transfer one-third of its missile stockpile to the Hizballah in Lebanon, topping up its arsenal with 250 medium-range surface rockets that can cover central as well as northern Israel, which was heavily blitzed in the 2006 war.

Remember Israel's track record. They will wait as long as they possibly can before reacting to threats. Why? Because history has demonstrated that when they react, even against a legitimate and documented threat, the world immediately stands in opposition. So, they wait while hoping for some sign of a diplomatic solution.

My Opinion is that no diplomatic solution will come. There may be momentary signs that will delay the inevitable, but sooner or even sooner, Israel will have to defend itself. Keep praying for the Peace of Jerusalem....especially for the spiritual peace of Israelis who desperately need to see their Messiah.

Israel Outnumbered in the UN

All you need to do in order to understand how a person is thinking behind the scenes is to listen closely to what they say. The following article seems to be less weighted with rhetoric than normal, less positioning, and actually seems to echo the actual mind-set of the Israeli governement. This report comes in the wake of the endorsement of the now imfamous Goldstone Report.

Peres: Israel has no chance against 'built-in majority' in UN

By JPOST.COM STAFF

President Shimon Peres called the Goldstone Report "a great victory for terror," saying a "built-in majority against Israel" in the United Nations means the Jewish state has "no chance to win" support on any single issue.

In an interview with Newsweek published on Saturday, Peres said that "Never before did any terrorist organization gain such recognition, in the most unfair way," referring to the UN-commissioned report on Operation Cast Lead, which accuses both Hamas and Israel of committing war crimes and possibly crimes against humanity.

The report was endorsed earlier in October by a majority in the UN Human Rights Council. Among those who voted in favor of endorsement were such countries as Bahrain, China, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, Pakistan, Qatar, Russia, and Saudi Arabia.

"We have a problem in the United Nations: There is a built-in majority against Israel. Israel doesn't stand a chance to win any single issue because the Muslim and the Arab nations and the ones who follow them are a majority," Peres said. "The terms of reference were one-sided: to investigate the war crimes of Israel. And the conclusions -- they're one sided. There are 26 recommendations. Not one deals with terror. The terrorists are flying free and high. It's unbelievable. Israel does not occupy Gaza. We left Gaza completely. We are the only country that forced our own settlers and army without any foreign pressure to leave Gaza. And for eight years we restrained [military retaliations to rockets fired by Hamas]. No reference to it," said the president.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told the Washington Post that Israel was looking into the possibility of conducting an internal investigation into Operation Cast Lead and accusations of human rights violations, but not because of the Goldstone Report.

When asked whether he would support an internal Israeli inquiry into alleged war crimes committed during the three-week IDF operation in Gaza, Netanyahu replied that such an option was being looked into "not because of the Goldstone Report, but because of our own internal needs."

Speaking the truth was "the best way to defuse this issue," the prime minister said, because "Israel was defending itself with just means against an unjust attack.
"Serious countries have to think about adapting the laws of war in the age of terrorism and guerrilla warfare. If the terrorists believe they have a license to kill by choosing to kill from behind civilian lines, that's what they'll do again and again. What exactly is Israel supposed to do?" Netanyahu said.

In response to Netanyahu's remarks, Defense Minister Ehud Barak reiterated his opinion that Israel should not appoint a commission to investigate the actions of IDF officers and soldiers during Operation Cast Lead. Barak stressed that he fully trusted the operational investigations conducted by the IDF, adding that "there is no army in the world that investigates its actions like the IDF."

Also in the interview published over the weekend, Peres said Netanyahu could no longer be called "right-wing."
"He came from the right, but he's no longer a rightist. He agreed to a two-state solution and to what no other prime minister ever agreed to, to freeze settlements," Peres was quoted as saying.
Peres told Newsweek he may have had "a certain influence" upon the steps that Netanyahu has taken. "I don't expect him to take everything that I say. My advice is simple: We have to make peace. We shouldn't postpone it," the president said.

Netanyahu, for his part, expressed his belief that the government represented the "consensus of the Israeli public." He went on to blame the Palestinian Authority for preventing the resumption of peace talks by setting preconditions. "We just wasted six months because of the Palestinian effort to place preconditions on the negotiations, preconditions that weren't there for the last 16 years … it's freezing the settlements, it's committing in advance to the results of the negotiations." The prime minister claimed that "the gist of the problem is that for 62 years the Palestinians have refused to recognize Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people."

This sounds like a government that has done everything it could to construct peace while maintaining security. It hasn't worked, nor will it until a certain "man of peace" arrives on the scene.

Don't Buy Stock In Chicken Little

Over the course of the last few days I have witnessed more youtube videos about the end of the world than I care to remember. Some have demonstrated the creation of "Concentration Camps" for anti-OBAMITES, for those who refuse the H1N1 Vaccination, and Christians. New World Order videos decrying a one world currency abound. Implanted chip stories are running wild. "America is DOOMED" is being shouted by everyone from Glen Beck to Joe down the street.
CHICKEN LITTLE is freaking out! Fear is wrapping its slimy fingers around every unguarded throat. Hysteria is lurking in every dark corner, not only of the internet, but in Sunday School rooms and coffee shops. Yikes!
I DON'T BUY IT! What is the point of getting all Chicken Littled? HELLLLOOOO....the Bible warned us about these types of events. Jesus said it. Did we not believe him? Does getting all worked up somehow help the cause of Christ? For crying-out-loud friends, aren't we supposed to have the peace of God that passes understanding? Isn't that peace guarding our hearts and minds? Or is Chicken Little pecking on the top of your head?
Maybe America is about to go over a cliff into a Marxist-led one world order. Don't we believers in Christ carry just a temporary visa to this land? I've had temporary visas stamped in my Passport while living overseas. It is what it is....TEMPORARY......not ETERNAL! Our citizenship is in a greater Kingdom. Does that mean we shouldn't voice our morals, stand up against a growing tyranny, and warn as many people as possible? Of course not. We are to be good citizens of our beloved country. But, sheeesh, we do not have the right to get all worked into a frenzy. Think it throug...no....PRAY it through. Our spiritual eyes must be on our King, even as our skeptical eyes are on our President. Please do not forget that.
Now....as to the coming one world government, the anti-Christ, and the Mark of the Beast. It will soon be a reality. (Soon is relative only to God's timetable.) The seeds of it are upon us, but it is not here yet. In fact, the anti-Christ cannot be revealed until a certain Restrainer is taken out of the way. (2 Thess. 2) For those of you who believe the Bride of Christ will be here when God's wrath is poured out... you need to rethink your position according to scripture. The church/Bride is not appointed for wrath. Would you beat up your wife? No? Then tell me why you think Christ would beat his? Nope...we will be gone...taken out of the world before the Father squishes the world like ripe grapes. (1 Thess. 4:15-18) Does this mean we will not go through tribulation....certainly not! We are PROMISED tribulation FROM THE UNGODLY WORLD, not from God. News Alert!....Tribulation is coming! It will come in the form of Hate Crime Legislation, and economic meltdown, terrible persecution, and inner city violence. That is the current course of things on this earth. (Matthew 24) However, we are to encourage ourselves with the fact that we will be snatched from this earth before the really horrible wrath of God is poured out.
So, how do we face these days? Here are my simple suggestions:
1. If you really want to have peace, spend more quiet time with the giver of Peace.... Jesus Christ.
2. Do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together, especially as you see that day approaching. That means, GO TO CHURCH! What is the point of soccer, football, basketball, and tiddlywinks when the world is winding down? Do we really have a right to go to our Christian gatherings only when it is convenient? Not if we are true followers of Christ. (I don't imagine my church is going to reach a new attendance record by saying that...but so be it.)
3. Spend time watching the signs, but spend more time in the WORD! Glen Beck is pretty good and I enjoy seeing his passion. However, GOD is AWESOME and actually created passion. Get passionate about God and what he is doing.
4. Pray for your President. Speak out against his policies, but do not allow hatred and wild emotions rule you.
5. If you want to see what's coming next prophetically, keep your eyes on Israel, not America. America is not mentioned in scripture, meaning it either won't exist, will be irrelevant, or will have joined the rest of the world community against Israel. (I believe the latter is the case, but that's just me.) Israel is the key.
6. Let not your heart be troubled. A troubled heart is absolutely no good to the Lord. A steadfast heart will be sought out. Witness will be given, and God will use you like never before.
7. Finally, be prudent as you watch the approaching signs that things are falling apart. It's okay to store away food in order to sustain your family and to help others in need. But the best thing to do is to store up for yourselves treasures in heaven. How? By being generous now in your giving. Give to your church. Give to the pour. Give to missions. Give Give Give. You will wish you had when the dollar dries up. Banking in God's economy never loses its value. In fact, his multiplication system is the best in the universe.
There you have it....my thoughts on Chicken Little, Chicken Soup, and sundry other items. Take or leave it. I will not be freaking out anytime soon. I will, however, rejoice in the Holy Spirit as I see these things that were spoken long ago come to pass.
Please pass this blog along! www.prophecyalert.blogspot.com

Turkey has Turned: The Next Domino to Fall Will Be Egypt

Dominoes are fun....no not the game, but standing them up in long ribbons and then watching them fall. It's like witnessing choreographed chaos. Sounds like the way prophecy is being fulfilled, doesn't it?

In my domino watching opinion, the coalition of Ezekiel 38 is on the verge of coming together. Turkey was the last chip...and it has now turned away from Israel and toward Team Magog. All that is needed for that coalition to come together is a trigger; a hook! Only God knows what it will be since he is the fisherman setting the thing. But there are certain signs that expand the probability that the hook will come in the form of the Psalm 83 hullabaloo. Again, I call it the INNER RING, as Psalm 83's group is made up of nations that actually border Israel.

The INNER RING has been a bit of a problem. Why? Because some of the nations mentioned, namely Egypt and Jordan, live in a quasi-peaceful manner with Israel due to various peace accords made over the years. But that too is beginning to change, and I believe the next domino that will fall will be Egypt. Here are two startling developments that nudge me toward that opinion.

First, from the Oct. 23rd Jerusalem Post: Israeli breast cancer researchers are denied entrance into Egypt for an international symposium on breast cancer. All documents were in order, including entrance visas. However, since the Goldstone Report was accepted by the United Nations Human Rights Council, this is the second instance in which Israelis have been denied entrance into Egypt. The sole reason? They are Israelis! This is exactly how it began with Turkey.

Second: Longtime Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak is old and gravely ill. Though his desire is that his son succeed him into the Presidency, the normally secular/moderate Islamic political machine seems to be caving to the Islamic radicals. Why? Plain and simple....FEAR. The Iranian backed radical movement has become so powerful and violent, there are few who will be able to stand against the threat. How fast will Egypt's fall take place? I really have no idea. But if Israel ends up taking the Iranian nuclear situation into its own hands (which seems increasingly likely) then Egypt and Jordan both will turn on a dime. Or shall I say "fall like dominoes?"

Why the Door For Peace Has Closed!

Though it is the last truth anyone in the world's diplomatic community will admit, the door to Middle-East peace has been slammed shut.
The process that closed the door began with the publishing of what is known as the Goldstone Report. This, supposedly in-depth and non-biased, investigation of Israel's foray into the Gaza strip in early 2009 has done everything but tell the truth. It ignores several key facts, including, ("Just the facts, ma'am!")
1. The fact that Hamas (the terrorist Palestinian gang that forced its way violently into power in the Gaza Strip) had been launching missiles into Israel for several months before Iron Fist was initiated. Goldstone never mentioned the number of launches... over 8000!
2. The fact that Hamas recruited children as suicide bombers by threatening the parents.
3. The fact that Hamas used innocent Palestinian civilians as human shields.
4. The fact that Hamas subjugates women to the lowest form of existence.
5. The fact that Hamas refuses to recognize Israel's right to existence, and worse, Goldstone failed to acknowledge that Hamas has committed itself to the total annihilation of every Jew.
6. The fact that Hamas refuses to participate in developing a two-state solution to the Palestinian problem.
Instead, Israel was demonized! No wonder the United Nations Human Rights Commission, a decidedly anti-Semitic farse readily accepted the Goldstone Report and ushered it to the United Nations Security Council for ratification. The onus is now on Barack Obama who recently announced that the USA would re-join the UNHRC. His choices for the direction of his foreign policy are suddenly staring him in the face, and they are simple. Either twist some arms to prevent the ratification of the Goldstone Report and risk becoming immensely unpopular in the world, or join into the ultimate demonization of Israel. What will he do? He is now trapped in his own rhetoric, and a decision must be made.
Why has this development closed the door to peace? Simple: Israel now sees clearly that if it allows a Palestinian state, either on the West Bank or a contiguous state that connects the West Bank with Gaza, there will be no acceptable recourse to deal with terror attacks launched from said state.
Israel patiently waited for the international community to act as missiles rained down for four years. The result: NO RESPONSE! Then, after exhausting every other avenue and after having issued numerous warnings of what the IDF would do, Israel was left with no choice. It dealt with Hamas in the only way it could....militarily. The world rose up and slammed Israel for defending itself. Israel now sees that it is damned if it does, and damned if it doesn't. Netanyahu would be out of his mind, and against the Israeli public I might add, to pursue peace by a two-state-solution. He will, of course, give it lip service, but the door to peace has closed.
I am more and more convinced that the dividing of Israel WILL HAPPEN. Both the Prophets of note on the issue, Joel and Daniel, say a dividing will occur. (Joel 3:1-3; Daniel 11:36-39) Who will do it? Daniel describes him as the Prince who is to come; John calls him the Little Horn of the great Beast yet to come. (Daniel 9:24-27; Revelation 13) The Little Horn is non other than the one whom Christians call the Anti-Christ. The result of the dividing of the land will be Armageddon! (Rev. 16:16)
So, if you're interested in my speculative opinion of a probable sequence of events, read on.
1. Israel will most likely attack Iran's nuclear facilities in an attempt to stop the development of a nuclear weapon. (America may help, but the following results will still be the same. I actually doubt that Obama will participate. He may actually attempt to stop Israel.)
2. Once that happens, Iran's puppet...Syria....will threaten Israel. Damascus will be destroyed. (Isaiah 17)
3. Naturally, the entire Inner Ring will rise up....Jordan, Lebanon, Gaza, Egypt, Syria, and Saudi Arabia will then have to be dealt with. (I believe numbers 1 Thru 3 will happen staccato fashion.) (Psalm 83, Jeremiah 12, Ezekiel 25, Obadiah 15-18)
4. Israel will suddenly be in control of the land mass held and ruled by Solomon....from the Euphrates to the Nile! Security will be in place because of the destruction of the immediate threat of close-in radical Muslim states.
5. The Outer Ring will constrict to the mountains surrounding this expanded territory, and the Ezekiel 38 and 39 war of Gog and Magog will occur.
6. In the aftermath of God's awesome intervention, a figure will arise to witness a "Covenant with the many." (Dan. 9-12 & Rev. 13) This figure is the Anti-Christ. I believe the covenant will be to protect the WORLD from Israel, not the other way around. Israel will be the most feared and hated nation on the planet! The Anti-Christ will unite the world while posing as the protector of Israel. Israel will acquiesce to this "man of peace" for one reason..... He will allow the rebuilding of the Temple in light of the fact that Islam had just been rendered meaningless.
7. That Covenant will usher in Daniel's Seventieth Week....(Dan. 9) know as the Great Tribulation. The seven year period will end with Christ's return to the planet after the world's armies have gathered at the place known as "Armageddon." (Rev. 16:16; Zecharial 14; Rev. 19)
Ah, you have one more question, don't you? Go ahead, ask it! When does the Rapture take place?
Answer: Any moment between now and POINT NUMBER 6!
In conclusion, remember that it is Christ who opens and shuts doors. For now, the door to peace is closed tight. It will not open until Christ returns to rule and reign.
(Disclaimer....what you have read is not Science Fiction or Fantasy. What you have read, though the sequence of events are speculation, is all true. Jesus will return to the planet!)
Stay tuned to the next blog. In it I will relay a number of suggestions that will help and encourage you to draw closer than ever to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The Noose Around Israel Seems to be Tightening

From the Old Testament prophecies about our current days, there are two rings of enemies circling the tiny nation of Israel. What may seem to be an insignificant country to most world observers is actually the pivot-point of God's end-time designs. Quite literally, in God's eyes, Jerusalem is the center of the universe. His long-time covenants with Abraham and David will be fulfilled.
The INNER RING is described in Psalm 83; Isaiah 17; Jeremiah 12:14-17, Ezekiel 25:12-17, and Obadiah 15-18. The names used are those of the ancient people groups that lived in particular regions at the time of the writings. Just as the prophecies speak to the "land of Israel," they also speak to the "lands" from which these ancient people groups lived. That means we can determine which nations today actually fulfill the Old Testament's description of individual people groups. Nearly all Biblical scholars agree on the following connections from the above scriptures. And since no recent war has included all of the above mentioned, we know it has not yet been fulfilled. It is very clear that the world is about to witness the prophesied events.
Edom/Moab = Jordan
Ammon/Gebal/Amalek = Syria (Actually mentioned as Syria/Damascus in Isaiah 17)
Tyre/Gebal/Ashur = Lebanon
Ishmaelites = The Saudi Peninsula
Hagrites = Egypt
Ashur/Gaza/Philistines = the Gaza Strip
From today's news headlines we read:
New Iranian missiles for Gaza, Syria tops up Hizballah's rocket stocks
Debka Files

Military sources wonder what the Netanyahu government is doing to halt the missile stranglehold tightening around Israel. Nothing is apparent as yet.
In other words, the inner ring is beginning to tighten like a noose around Israel's neck. The Israeli people are beginning to wonder what their government is going to do about this increasing threat to Israel's existence. No one is coming to their aid. America has abandoned them. Europe has snubbed its nose. Turkey, the only moderate Muslim friend has gone radical and is now in Iran's camp of cutthroats. The INNER RING war is just around the corner.
But if you read the above verses, you will notice that Israel will win that conflict. God says he will destroy those enemies "by the hand of my people Israel!" Not only that, but Israel will greatly expand its territory....almost back to the Solomon-controlled land that God promised to restore. The result will be the alleviation of a massive threat, and Israel will suddenly seem secure and at some semblance of peace. (Ezekiel 38:7-9)
What will happen then?
The OUTER RING will tighten with the design of destroying God's OT Covenant People.
Ezekiel 38 and 39 The Gog/Magog War
The outer ring is clearly described and is now coming together in an unstoppable alliance led by Russia. Here are the nations using the above criteria.
Gog, Magog, Meshech, and Tubal (all sons of Japheth that migrated to....) = Russia
Gomer (Another son of Japheth) = Turkey
Togarmah (Son of Japheth) = the nations stretching from the Black sea to the Caspian Sea, all
former Soviet Republics... now called the Coalition of Seven Rapid Response Force.
Persia = Iran
Put = Libya
Cush = The southern part of Egypt, the Sudan, and the Horn of Africa (all radicalized Muslim controlled regions.)
God will set the hook and bring the OUTER RING of nations to the mountains controlled by Israel....spread across Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, and the southern Negev. Again, no nation will come to Israel's aid. But there is a God in heaven who's wrath will come up in his face. His name is Jehovah. He will cause the mountains to quake, the armies to fight one another, and ultimately destroy the coastlands of the sending nations.
The Result?
EZEKIEL 39:7 "And the nations (of the whole world) will know that i am the Lord, the Holy One of Israel."
I fully believe that final announcement will usher in the greatest end-time harvest in history. (Joel 2...Latter Rain... Mathew 24:14) It will be short. It will be powerful. It will culminate in the Rapture! Understand that I believe the Rapture could happen at any moment, but my heart tells me we will be the tools used for this Latter Rain harvest. Are YOU ready? These events are suddenly upon us.

Israeli Insight Into Turkey's Turn Away From the West

How Turkey was Lost
By CAROLINE GLICK

Once the apotheosis of a pro-Western, dependable Muslim democracy, this week Turkey officially left the Western alliance and became a full member of the Iranian axis.

It isn't that Ankara's behavior changed fundamentally in recent days. There is nothing new in its massive hostility toward Israel and its effusive solicitousness toward the likes of Syria and Hamas. Since the Islamist AKP party first won control over the Turkish government in the 2002 elections, led by AKP chairman Recip Tayyip Erdogan, the Turks have incrementally and inexorably moved the formerly pro-Western Muslim democracy into the radical Islamist camp populated by the likes of Iran, Syria, Hizbullah, al-Qaida and Hamas.

What made Turkey's behavior this week different from its behavior in recent months and years is that its attacks were concentrated, unequivocal and undeniable for everyone outside of Israel's scandalously imbecilic and flagellant media.

Until this week, both Israel and the US were quick to make excuses for Ankara. When in 2003 the AKP-dominated Turkish parliament prohibited US forces from invading Iraq through Kurdistan, the US blamed itself. Rather than get angry at Turkey, the Bush administration argued that its senior officials had played the diplomatic game poorly.

In February 2006, when Erdogan became the first international figure to host Hamas leaders on an official state visit after the jihadist group won the Palestinian elections, Jerusalem sought to explain away his diplomatic aggression. Israeli leaders claimed that Erdogan's red carpet treatment for mass murderers who seek the physical destruction of Israel was not due to any inherent hostility on the part of the AKP regime toward Israel. Rather, it was argued that Ankara simply supported democracy and that the AKP, as a formerly outlawed Islamist party, felt an affinity toward Hamas as a Muslim underdog.

Jerusalem made similar excuses for Ankara when during the 2006 war with Hizbullah Turkey turned a blind eye to Iranian weapons convoys to Lebanon that traversed Turkey; when Turkey sided with Hamas against Israel during Operation Cast Lead, and called among other things for Israel to be expelled from the UN; and when Erdogan caused a diplomatic incident this past January by castigating President Shimon Peres during a joint appearance at the Davos conference. So, too, Turkey's open support for Iran's nuclear weapons program and its galloping trade with Teheran and Damascus, as well as its embrace of al-Qaida financiers have elicited nothing more than grumbles from Israel and America.

Initially, this week Israel sought to continue its policy of making excuses for Turkish aggression against it. On Sunday, after Turkey disinvited the IAF from the Anatolian Eagle joint air exercise with Turkey and NATO, senior officials like Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon and opposition leader Tzipi Livni tried to make light of the incident, claiming that Turkey remains Israel's strategic ally.

But Turkey wasted no time in making fools of them. On Monday, 11 Turkish government ministers descended on Syria to sign a pile of cooperation agreements with Iran's Arab lackey. The Foreign Ministry didn't even have a chance to write apologetic talking points explaining that brazen move before Syria announced it was entering a military alliance with Turkey and would be holding a joint military exercise with the Turkish military. Speechless in the wake of Turkey's move to hold military maneuvers with its enemy just two days after it canceled joint training with Israel, Jerusalem could think of no mitigating explanation for the move.

Tuesday was characterized by escalating verbal assaults on the Jewish state. First Erdogan renewed his libelous allegations that Israel deliberately killed children in Gaza. Then he called on Turks to learn how to make money like Jews do.

Erdogan's anti-Israel and anti-Semitic blows were followed on Tuesday evening by Turkey's government-controlled TRT1 television network's launch of a new prime-time series portraying IDF soldiers as baby- and little girl-killers who force Palestinian women to deliver stillborn babies at roadblocks and line up groups of Palestinians against walls to execute them by firing squad.

The TRT1 broadcast forced Israel's hand. Late on Tuesday, the Foreign Ministry announced it was launching an official protest with the Turkish Embassy. Unfortunately, it was unclear who would be coming to the Foreign Ministry to receive the demarche, since Turkey hasn't had an ambassador in Israel for three weeks.

TURKEY'S BREAK with the West; its decisive rupture with Israel and its opposition to the US in Iraq and Iran was predictable. Militant Islam of the AKP variety has been enjoying growing popularity and support throughout Turkey for many years. The endemic corruption of Turkey's traditional secular leaders increased the Islamists' popularity. Given this domestic Turkish reality, it is possible that Erdogan and his fellow Islamists' rise to power was simply a matter of time.

But even if the AKP's rise to power was eminently predictable, its ability to consolidate its control over just about every organ of governance in Turkey as well as what was once a thriving free press, and change completely Turkey's strategic posture in just seven years was far from inevitable. For these accomplishments the AKP owes a debt of gratitude to both the Bush and Obama administrations, as well as to the EU.

The Bush administration ignored the warnings of secular Turkish leaders in the country's media, military and diplomatic corps that Erdogan was a wolf in sheep's clothing. Rather than pay attention to his past attempts to undermine Turkey's secular, pro-Western character and treat him with a modicum of suspicion, after the AKP electoral victory in 2002 the Bush administration upheld the AKP and Erdogan as paragons of Islamist moderation and proof positive that the US and the West have no problem with political Islam. Erdogan's softly peddled but remorselessly consolidated Islamism was embraced by senior American officials intent on reducing democracy to a synonym for elections rather than acknowledging that democracy is only meaningful as a system of laws and practices that engender liberal egalitarianism.

A Busy Day in Prophecy

Two MASSIVE Prophetic Events have happened!

ALERT .... ALERT .... ALERT

Fox News reported this evening that Russia and the Coalition of Seven concluded military exercises today in Kzakistan. The seven-member rapid response unit is made up of nations stretching from the Black Sea to the Caspian Sea....forming what is Biblically known as Togarmah in Ezekiel 38-39. The purpose of the exercise was to begin intense preparations to defend any coalition member state, or any ally to the coalition. What ally might that be? Yes, you guessed it..... IRAN!

Then,

This from this evening's Jerusalem Post. It looks like the Obama Administration is finally putting a piece of the puzzle together, although I am certain it is not coming from any Biblical/Prophetic awareness whatsoever. A major shift in the western alliance is taking place, namely, Turkey is turning eastward. I've been shouting it for months...and especially in the last few days. Suddenly, the United States is alarmed. Well...THEY SHOULD BE ALARMED!

Read

"US, American Jews Alarmed at Turkey's Actions on Israel"

The Obama administration is very concerned about Turkey's actions towards Israel and growing closeness with Syria, US sources told The Jerusalem Post.

The sources said the US hadn't determined whether Ankara's increasing affinity with Damascus indicated a strategic decision to reorient away from the West, but that it was monitoring Turkey's behavior with some alarm.

However, the White House released an upbeat announcement following US President Barack Obama's call to Turkish President Abdullah Gul Saturday. The statement said the two discussed "a range of issues, reflecting the broad strategic dialogue the United States conducts with this key ally."

Events are not only happening quickly....they are ramping up to light speed. Not only has Turkey backslidden from its strategic alliance with Israel, it turned to Syria as a replacement for its own military exercise.

Remember the events of last week (October 9). Saudia Arabia reached out to its longtime enemy....Syria....in order to re-establish relationships that soured at the beginning of the 1979 Islamic Revolution. That is when the Iranian Mullahs incited Islamic radicals to overthrow the government of the Shah...all approved by none other than Jimmy Carter. It was as Shiite revolution. The Saudi's are Sunni... the two Islamic denominations do not mix, that is unless they have a common enemy on the horizon. Many believe the Saudis have turned to Syria in an effort to counter Iran and its radical regime. I think not. I believe all the Islamic Middle Eastern nations are beginning to unite because the see the Obama-given opportunity to come against Israel.

Keep your eyes open. The next two nations that will soon begin to turn away from their fragile peace with Israel will be Jordan and Egypt. When that takes place, all of the Psalm 83 nations will be united. This war will be the first, and will lead to the coming Ezekiel 38 and 39 Gog and Magog war. (Those nations are now coming together rapidly.)

All I can say is WOW! It is time to pray for souls to be saved by the redemptive blood of Jesus Christ, both Jews and Gentiles. Pray that Jews and Muslims alike would see the true Messiah and turn to him before it is too late. PRAY PRAY PRAY And while you are at it, pray for your family, your neighbor, and your nation. Time is quickly winding down!

Prophetic Developments Are Taking Place

Following Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton's failed bid to gain Russian approval of the imposition of economic sanctions against Iran, some key developments have occurred.
1. Turkey has continued its slide away from its long-time alliance with Israel. Beyond barring Israel from its most recent joint military exercise, a documentary depicting Israeli soldiers stabbing Palestinian children and using firing squads as a means to execute Palestinian adults was aired on Turkish national television. The propaganda war against Israel has begun.
2. China today reiterated that it will continue to partner with Iran in extracting crude oil from the ground, shipping it to Chinese refineries, and then providing cheap fuel to Iran. Though China stated it will do all it can to discourage Iran in its nuclear ambitions, it will not join in the move to impose economic sanctions. The Obama Administration has failed AGAIN in its foreign policy.
3. It has been learned, officially, that Lebanon has become a depository for thousands of medium-ranged Syrian missiles. The entirety of Israel is now in danger.
Finally, the following story was leaded by the French media concerning Israel's plan to not only strike Iran, but Iran's allies after December 2009. If the story was leaked, Israel wanted it to be leaked! If they are saying after December, you can bet that it will actually happen much sooner, especially if it does not invoke some new movement by the world community to subdue Iran. Question: Will America allow Israel to act?
This is the first actual media report that names all but one of the PSALM 83 recipients of Israel's prophesied attack. (Saudi Arabia) Here it is from the Debka Files;
Israel may attack Iran after December - Le Canard Enchaine
DEBKAfile Special Report
October 15, 2009, 9:45 AM (GMT+02:00)

According to an unconfirmed report in the French Le Canard Enchaine of Wednesday, Oct. 14, Israel is preparing to bomb Iranian nuclear sites and pro-Iranian targets across the Middle East after December 2009. The prestigious satirical weekly reports that the IDF has notified special forces reservists abroad to get ready to return home in November for immediate drafting to the military operation against Iranian nuclear facilities. The weekly further reports Israel has ordered combat rations from a French firm for these reservists to stay on long-term missions far from home.

French military sources said that Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi met secretly in France with US armed forces Chief of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen and French Chief of Staff Gen. Jean-Louis Georgelin, to inform that Israel planned to attack Iran after December, when it became clear that the talks between the six powers and Tehran had failed to produce any benefit.

According to Le Canard Enchaine, Ashkenazi said Israel would not attack Iran by air but rather use ground forces in coordinated operations on several Middle East fronts.

DEBKAfile's military sources add that if the information leaked to the newspaper from French joint staffs sources is correct - and not a red herring to disguise the impending attack's real nature - the IDF may be expected to branch out from Iran's nuclear facilities to target its allies too, such as Syrian air force and missile batteries, Hizballah bases in Lebanon and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

Le Canard Enchaine is not alone in predicting an Israeli attack on Iran after December. A former Israeli deputy defense minister, Efraim Sneh, commented to US and British media several times in the past week that if the US fails to rally fellow powers' support for toughened sanctions against Iran by Christmas, Israel will have to attack its nuclear installations. It may be assumed that Sneh was not just guessing on his own initiative.
Buckle your spiritual seat belt, this roller coaster of prophetic events is about to launch. Remember, the greatest day of evangelism in the history of the world is upon us!
