Hariri Caves to the Ayatollah

The past few days have been filled with extraordinary events. North Korea launches an artillery attack against South Korea, stirring up the angst of just about every nation in the world but China. President Obama gives control of the NATO anti ballistic shield covering eastern Europe to Turkey. An Iranian scientist reveals that Iran's nuclear program is for the sole purpose of developing nuclear weapons. Wikileaks.....LEAKS, causing the Obama Administration to appear, once again, weak and helpless.

Today, we find that Lebanese Prime Minister Hariri went to Iran and was told by the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khameni, that he has no other option but to fully integrate the Lebanese military into Hizbollah, of course, controlled by Iran and Mahmoud Ahmadenijad. The Hizbollah is the fully radicalized terrorist army, trained and commanded by the Iranians, developed to destroy Israel. Not only that, but several days ago I reported that the Palestinian radicals, Hamas, had finally taken the step of their command and control with Hizbollah.

As of today, three of the five people groups bordering Israel are now radicalized and under orders from Teheran. (The Isamic Jihad in the Sinai, Hamas in the Gaza Strip, and Hizbollah of Lebanon.) Jordan and Saudi Arabia are the last roadblocks to Iranian domination of the Inner Ring. Jordanian and Saudi Arabian intents to remove Iran as a threat by means of the Americans and/or Israelis, as revealed by the Wikileaks...LEAKS, has now placed them in the cross hairs of radicalism. To be sure, Sunni radicals are already joining forces with Shia radicals to bring about the demise of Israel...and the Great Satan. Islamic radicalism is Islamic radicalism, no matter the brand.

What does this mean for Israel?

I believe it is another step to an inevitable war described in Psalm 83, Ezekiel 25, Isaiah 17, Zephaniah 2, and Zechariah 9. Although we cannot put dates on God's timetable unless he reveals it, one thing is certain, this war is fast approaching. The aftermath will leave the world with its mouth hanging open in awe and fear of how Israel rises to prominence.

Yet Another Sign of the Psalm 83 Coalition

The following article is another in a long series of signs that demonstrate we are on the verge of witnessing the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy.

Should Hamas unite politically and militarily with Iran, the coalition of Psalm 83, Isaiah 17, Ezekiel 25, Zephaniah 2, and Zechariah 9 will be nearly complete. The only domino left to fall is Jordan. Once that happens, the INNER RING WAR will be around the corner as Israel will be forced to protect itself from annihilation....the goal of radical Islam.

Interestingly, after the Inner Ring War ends, Israel will have regained the ancient boundaries of Solomon. They will be powerful and feared. It is easy to see how Russia, with its renewed desire to dominate the Middle East, would be enraged enough to join Iran in its evil intent. The hook of Ezekiel 38 and 39 will be set. The Outer Ring War will take place and end in God's righteous judgment. In the middle of it all, the Rapture of the Church looms large.

Palestinian Hamas "moderate" invites Ahmadinejad to visit Gaza

Ahmad Yousef campaigns for Hamas-Iran bondThe Hamas government's deputy foreign minister Dr. Ahmed Yousef is actively campaigning for the Gaza regime to form a strategic partnership with Iran on the same lines as the Iranian-Syrian-Hizballah alliance.

debkafile's Middle East sources report that Yousef heads the radical Hamas's "moderate" wing.

His initiative will certainly be welcomed in Tehran as extending the Iranian foothold on the eastern Mediterranean from Lebanon as far south as the Gaza strip. Iran would also gain a forward position close to Israel's population centers, with leverage for expanding the wedge dividing Palestinian Hamas from Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The ayatollahs would also be in place to threaten the stability of Jordan, where already Hamas-Damascus controls the local Muslim Brotherhood branch sufficiently to order its members to boycott last week's parliamentary elections.

Finally, close ties between Gaza and Tehran will bolster the Palestinian extremists' military and intelligence ties with Damascus and Hizballah. This will in turn boost the bloc led by Iran and Syria and add to its leverage for derailing any fence-building moves between the feuding Hamas and Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah and perpetuate the division between the two Palestinian entities - one in Gaza and the other on the West Bank

Gaza Blockade Concession will Lead to Inner Ring War

This week, under tremendous world pressure as always, Israel eased the restrictions with the Gaza Blockade. This was another in a long line of forced concessions that will only lead to further bloodshed. Be assured, Hamas is now entrenched as a political power in Gaza and will not easily be removed. As a puppet entity of Iran, Hamas will soon renew its call to remove Israel from the face of the earth. Expect a new and terrible round of terrorism, rocket launches, and general mayhem.

Even though the world has lined up against Israel, the Jews will be only be pushed so far before an overwhelming response against Hamas in Gaza becomes necessary. Ezekiel tells us how it will turn out.

"And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom (Jordan) by the hand of my people Israel, and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, declares the Lord God....Behold, I will stretch out my hand against the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethites and destroy the rest of the seacoast. I will execute great vengeance on them with wrathful rebukes. They they will know that I am the Lord, when I lay my vengeance upon them." Ezekiel 25:13-14, 16-17 also read Psalm 83, Isaiah 17, Zephaniah 2, Zechariah 9

The Palestinians in Gaza are not the Philistines. That people group is long dead. However, the people of Gaza live on the land represented by the Philistines. God is going to use Israel to rebuke the surrounding nations, including the ancient land of the Philistines now ruled by the terrorist organization Hama. No read a portion of an editorial by Barry Rubin that spells it out in a secular way.

What does Israel give up? The entire strategy of trying to reduce Gaza’s economy and the rewards that Hamas can give its supporters. In other words, while Hamas’s military capacity is kept as low as possible, it can stay in power for decades. While this represents a considerable “retreat,” it is not so meaningful in practice since – as noted above – nobody is going to allow Israel to overthrow the regime in Gaza.So this is the future: A revolutionary Islamist statelet, a long-term outpost of Iran, a base for spreading terrorism and subversion, a source for genocidal anti-Semitic propaganda has been established on the shores of the Mediterranean. For all practical purposes, one could have made this declaration two or four years ago. Now it is clear.Some people might find the above paragraph controversial. But it is all obvious.Hamas will be in power in the Gaza Strip for a long time. Who is going to remove it? It is a client of Iran. Certainly it is under embargo for arms, but it functions a lot like an independent state for practical purposes. It will return to war against Israel at the first opportunity. It teaches its people to kill Jews and to be terrorists.That doesn’t mean all Gazans support it, but those who don’t can do nothing about it.Moreover, the Hamas regime receives indirect aid because the Palestinian Authority pays much of its civil service, and Western projects are designed to help its people.Yes, of course there are limits on what it can do, given its size and the pressure still put on by Egypt and Israel. But this is an accurate description. Putting it bluntly sounds harsh, but the reality is harsh.And what could be more ironic than the fact that Western governments, frantic for an Israeli-Palestinian peace, have just helped put one more gigantic roadblock in the way? Even without Hamas ruling almost half of those under Palestinian rule, the PA probably wouldn’t be able to make peace. The consolidation of a Hamas state makes that inability a certainty.While a change in Israeli policy can be said to mark this new era, the outcome should not be blamed on the government, since the situation was made inevitable by Western policy. The world has no idea what it has done, or how much blood will flow as a result of this failure. People will write about this being true in five or 10 years.You are reading about it right now.

Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal on Friday called Israel “the obstacle” to peace in the Middle East and urged the US to “deal with this reality and not put pressure on the Palestinian or the Arab side.” In an interview with PBS, Mashaal said his organization had no problem with the US, calling it “a great state.” But, he said, “its interest should not be at the expense of the interests of others and the peoples of the region.”
"If America wants democracy and human rights, it has to give the same rights to the people in the region,” he said. It's support of Israel “complicates matters,” he added.Mashaal spoke out against the isolation of Hamas, saying the US "should have direct dialogue with Hamas without mediators … Why does [US Mideast envoy George Mitchell] believe that he will succeed in the Palestinian issue without dialogue with Hamas?" Mashaal said that just as the Obama Adminstration had accepted the results of Israel's election despite the rise of “extremists” to power, it should accept Hamas's victory in the 2006 Palestinian election. Failing to do so showed a double standard, he said.The Hamas leader said he did not support violence against civilians and said attacks on Israel would stop once it withdrew to the 1967 borders.

In other news......President Obama, after having joined the UN Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty Panel, has objected to wording in the treaty that everyone knew would be there. The NTP was decidedly anti-Semitic from the moment it was conceived. Until Barrack Obama assumed the Presidency, the United States had been categorically opposed the nature of the the panel. Now, that the commission, made up of predominantly third world & Middle Eastern countries, has singled out Israel as the main culprit in blocking a nuclear-free Middle East, the Obama administration realizes it has put itself in jeopardy with a large block of American Jews who support Israel's right to defend itself. My question is why our President was so foolish in joining this bogus commission in the first place.

The Gaza-Siege Myth

The truth surrounding the situation in Israel becomes more distorted day by day. Israel is portrayed as the "bad guy," while the Hamas-led Palestinians are decried as poor, hapless victims of Israeli occupation. The lie has become so prominent that the Presbyterian Church of the USA issued a severe condemnation against Israel for its illegal occupation of the Holy Land and for its inhumane treatment of the Palestinians. The Church called for immediate sanctions against Israel and an equitable division of the land, including Jerusalem.

Nothing could be further from reality. Read this thoughtful article by Chris Schang. It will dispel the myth that Gaza is under siege by the Israelis.

The Gaza Siege Myth

One of the most flawed and consistently repeated errors in the Israeli and Palestinian conflict is that Israel is somehow holding Gaza in a siege and because of that it suffers as a result of Israeli aggression. The truth of the matter is that nothing could be further from the truth. The YNetNews website recently had an article that covered this topic and it is timely considering the increased pressure the U.S. is presently pushing on Israel. The YNetNews article reports:
United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon is set to arrive in Israel to visit the Gaza Strip amidst demands to end a so-called siege on the terrorist-controlled territory. Yet one has to ask what siege, or blockade, he is referring to, with 738,576 tons of humanitarian aid being transferred into the Gaza Strip in 2009.
Further:
Moreover, the UN has provided $200 million in Gaza Strip aid following a military operation that reportedly claimed 1,300 fatalities amongst a population of less than 1.5 million – meanwhile, notwithstanding plans to raise more funds, it has provided only $10 million to natural disaster victims in Haiti as of the end of January, an earthquake that claimed the lives of over 230,000 people and affected over 3 million. Of course, that is without mentioning that Haitians have not been attacking an innocent nearby civilian population for a near decade.
The facts being presented in the YNetNews article are very interesting in that Gaza presently and I would say has done so for a long time now, received more aid than current crisis centers around the rest of the world are receiving in light of devastating natural accidents like the earthquake in Haiti. The problem with the Palestinians is that they have not used the money they have been given to better the future of their citizens. The fact is the bulk of the aid money has been used to buy more arms in order to further attacks on Israel. Then what is remaining is usually funneled into secret accounts of the corrupt Palestinian leadership. Yasser Arafat's widow is still the last I heard still receiving millions of dollars a year from aid money in order to support her and her children who live in luxury outside the Palestinian area. This is simply a gross abuse and waste of the taxpayers money that comes from the rest of the world. There's an old saying that you can't get help unless you help yourself. I think this old saying is appropriate to describe the Palestinian situation because they have simply not helped themselves and demanded that aid money be used for humanitarian projects that would alleviate the conditions in Gaza. But as long as the fanatical terrorists maintain their iron grip on Gaza there is no light at the end of the tunnel for the average Gazan who would simply like to move on with their lives in peace.
The YNetNews article also detailed the "lie" bought by the international community despite the evidence contrary to what is currently being promoted in reference to a siege on Gaza. The news report went on to mention:
The international community has bought into a bold-faced lie about an Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip while ignoring the facts on the ground. International humanitarian aid has been flowing rapidly into the Gaza Strip for years and in no way stopped after Operation Cast Lead, as 30,576 aid trucks entered the territory in 2009. In 2009, 4,883 tons of medical equipment entered the Gaza Strip. Just last month, a new CAT scan machine was brought into the Strip.
So from these facts on the ground we can easily see that the "siege" on Gaza is a myth perpetuated by the Palestinians and international community in order to pressure Israel. The facts on the ground just simply do not support the myth that is being promoted in order to cast Israel into a negative light. But as usual, people are not interested in the truth, they are simply looking for more ammunition to act out their anti-Semitic aggression towards Israel. This has simply got to stop. The truth is being discarded for a lie, and aid money is simply being dumped into a bottomless pit. Back when Israel vacated the Gaza strip and turned it over to the Palestinians it was widely reported that many of the greenhouses that were used to produce a substantial amount of agriculture products as well as jobs were systematically destroyed by the Palestinians rather than using them to better the overall situation of the average Palestinian. The Palestinians destroyed these greenhouses simply because of their bottomless hatred towards Israel and the Jews. This was a classic case of where the Palestinians could have taken a step forward to improve their lives, economy, jobs, etc. but instead they chose to shoot themselves in the foot instead by destroying the greenhouses. In fact, the Palestinians have done this kind of stuff so much in the past it is surprising that they have any toes left.
Another myth perpetuated by the Palestinians and international community is that Gaza has been turned into the world's largest prison. The fact on the ground is quite different as outlined by the article:
The Gaza Strip has also been referred to as “the world’s largest prison”, implying that residents are not being able to exit the territory. Yet in 2009, 10,544 patients and their companions left the Gaza Strip for medical treatment in Israel, and last week alone nearly 500 patients and companions from Gaza entered Israel for treatment.
The truth of the matter is that the Palestinians have used unfettered access into Israel as a means of carrying out suicide attacks and other acts of violence. They simply have no one but themselves to blame for Israel closing some roadblocks and entry points into Israel as keeping them open compromises the security of Israel as a whole. The Palestinians and international community continue to perpetuate lies about Gaza and the Israeli behavior towards them without mentioning why these events have occurred.
Meanwhile, US government officials such as Congressmen Keith Ellison and Brian Baird, both of which visited Sderot with the Sderot Media Center, have promoted the idea of a “Gaza Siege.” They must be ignoring the fact that US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton pledged $900 million in aid to be sent to the Gaza Strip following Operation Cast Lead. A USAID and DOD report calculating the aid sent to the quake-raved Haiti noted that, as of last month, all US government programs provided just over $700 million in aid, nearly $200 million less than to the terrorist-controlled Gaza Strip.
It is noteworthy that U.S. Congressman Keith Ellison is an open Muslim and has anti-Semitic behavior towards Israel. He is an African-American Catholic convert to Islam. It is not surprising that people like him would continue to support the "lies" about Israeli behavior on Gaza in light of the truth we have already covered. The fact of the matter is that the situation in Gaza and even the West Bank will not improve until corruption is halted and most importantly until the Palestinians themselves decide to help themselves rather than running around shooting themselves in the foot. As long as the world community continues to play surrogate mother to the Palestinians, they will continue to play into the "myths" of the Palestinian and Israeli conflict. One way to protect yourself from falling into believing these satanic lies is to educate yourself on the truths of the situation and not to believe everything you read in the media, which is blatantly liberal and unsurprisingly anti-Semitic towards the Israelis. Only until the world community continues to stop supporting the Palestinians and buying the "lies" will change be possible. Even then that is very unlikely as long as fanatical Islamic terrorist groups continue to control the Palestinian areas.
Let us continue to pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem, that the world looks for the truth and does not buy the satanic lies anymore. The continued promotion of these lies breeds a victim mentality that is easily seized upon by the terrorists who hope to keep the Palestinian people in bondage which leads to antagonizing the Israelis. The constant barrage of anti-Semitic media and TV shows to the general Palestinian population as well as to little children does nothing to encourage a healthy relationship that will ultimately lead to a peaceful co-existence between both sides. These acts of hatred will only continue to inflame the fires of hatred and lead to further bloodshed. Let us continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as the Lord Jesus Christ is the only one who can bring this troubled region back to genuine peace.

Well DUH!

At times, I have a difficult time believing these guys have any clue at all about what is happening in the Middle East.

But then I watched a good portion of the President's State of the Union speech and am now certain. THEY HAVE NO CLUE. They are so wrapped up in the progressive agenda to do away with the American Constitution that they have missed the most important elements of our place in the world. Israel is the center of the universe, not the White House.

Iran May Lash Out at Israel

U.S. President Barrack Obama's National Security Advisor on Friday cited a heightened risk that Iran will respond to growing pressure over its nuclear program by stoking violence against Israel.

The advisor, retired General James Jones, said history shows that when regimes are feeling pressure they can lash out by using surrogates. He said in Iran's case that would mean facilitating attacks through Hezbollah and Hamas. Iran supplies arms to both groups.

Jones also alluded to the prospect of added international sanctions being applied as one factor of added pressure. He said another factor is internal pressure--an apparent reference to street protests against the Iranian leadership over the disputed presidential election of June 12.

MY RESPONSE..... DUH! Can you feel the depth of knowledge and understanding flowing from the NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR? And this guy has the President's ear!

Did Hamas Have a "Born Again" Experience?

In an sudden about face, Hamas leadership, the organization that controls the Gaza Strip and gaining ground in the West Bank, now says it is ready to accept "Israel's Right to Exist." In conversations with British millionaire, David Martin Abrams in Hebron yesterday, Dwaik said "No one wants to throw anyone into the sea." He went on to express that Hamas is ready to 'nullify' the original twenty-year old Palestinian Charter and push forward to forge a peace between the Palestinians and the Jews. Abrams promised to meet as soon as possible with the British Foreign Secretary to convey the exact sentiment of the meeting.

Can it really be true that Hamas, a noted terrorist organization that has lived to destroy Israel, could have actually had a change of heart? Do they really want to start playing nice with the other child in the sand box? Are we looking at the Biblical cry of "Peace and Safety" Jesus' declared would exist at the time of his coming?

Next question please....Do I believe it? Absolutely NOT! Better question: Will Big-Daddy Barack Obama believe it and use it as a way to overt the eyes of America off of his impending political demise....ABSOLUTELY YES, YOU BET, FOR CERTAIN! Obama is only too ready to prove his Middle East policies aren't the failure everyone knows they are. We already know he has thrown Israel under the bus on multiple occasions. With the push for a recognized, independent Palestinian State picking up steam in the EU and the UN, Obama will smile that winning grin and jump on board the slow train to folly. Count on it!

Hamas is just another in a growing line of Israeli/American enemies that have figured out how to manipulate the President of the United States.

Not Even the Palestinians Can Agree

The headlong rush to force PEACE at any cost on Israel by Barack Obama and the European Union has it a snag. Or perhaps the snag is just now being made public. The fact is, not even the Palestinians can agree on the terms of peace and statehood.

The West Bank is led by 'Fatah,' the moderate political arm of the Palestinians who have sat down on multiple occasions to negotiate with the Israelis. The seem to truly desire peace, but their major platform is for the 'right of return' for displaced Arabs. Knowing that any Arab anywhere can claim the right of return, Benjamin Netanyahu forcefully rejects the notion. It is a massive security risk.

The Gaza Strip is controlled (Democratically elected) by Hamas, the arm of radical Islam in Palestine. Their only reason for being is to push Israel into the sea. They also seek to violently displace 'Fatah' as Mahmoud Abbas is an anathema due to his dealings with Israel. Suddenly, Hosni Mubarak has a plan to bring about joint rule between Fatah and Hamas....equal partnership....equal power....equal everything. Both sides reacted harshly. The conversation ended with Abbas throwing back in Mubarak's face the proposals Cairo drafted after an Egyptian intelligence delegation made the rounds of Tel Aviv, Damascus and Ramallah last week.

According to our sources, Cairo informed all the concerned parties that it had given up on Palestinian reconciliation and a power-sharing deal for reuniting the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The Egyptian plan - as presented to Israel, Syria and the Palestinian Authority – was to form two security commissions to supervise Palestinian security and intelligence forces in the West Bank and Gaza Strip respectively and represent the Palestinians in diplomacy with the Americans and the Israelis.

The West Bank commission would have three Fatah members and one Hamas member, while the Gazan commission would have 3 Hamas and one Fatah member, so representing their respective strength in the two entities.

Cairo also proposed creating a new 3,000-strong Palestinian security service with a half-and-half Fatah-Hamas membership to assume responsibility for and reopen the Gaza Strip crossings, thus lifting the Israeli blockade on the territory.

But the Palestinian leader Abbas sharply rejected the plan, accusing Egyptian leaders of "perpetuating the Ismail Haniyeh regime" in Gaza. "Don't even think of presenting this plan to President Obama," he said.

The telling phrase was, "Don't even think of presenting this plan to President Obama." Why? Could it be that Obama's partners in forcing peace on Israel are naive enough to jump at anything that looks like it might establish a legacy? Does our President have an innate inability to see chaos? Is it possible that chaos follows in the wake of our supreme leader? Maybe it's all of the above. One thing is certain, the Palestinian issue is extremely complicated and will not be solved by some glib attempt to put a signature on a document.

The fact remains: God really is in control of what is happening. He continues to set the geo-political landscape while patiently calling people everywhere to turn from self-worship and follow the only true Prince of Peace. Look up! Redemption is coming. (So is the Rapture!)
