This is NOT Democratic Unrest

The current wave of revolution began in Tunisia. The protests were led by women who wanted a bigger piece of political power. It was the closest thing to a democratic revolution in the waves of unrest sweeping North Africa and the Middle East.
Egypt's idealistic youth began the next wave, joined by Christians and Muslims alike. What started as an attempt to bring democratic reforms and oust dictator Mubarak has turned into an elective takeover by the Muslim Brotherhood.
Every ensuing protest movement has taken on the sinister. Bahrain, Yemen, Jordan, Dubai, and Libya....all are being instigated and fueled by Iranian backed Shi'ite movements. Each of those governments is ruled by Sunni Muslims. The two sects are quite different, especially in their eschatology. Both can be extremely violent. Both believe in Jihad of one level or another.
Now, it is beginning in Saudi Arabia.
This just in from Debkafile.
Thursday night, Feb. 24, saw the first signs of unrest in Saudi Arabia with demonstrations by young people demanding reforms of the kingdom's system of government and by Shiites living and working in the kingdom's oil-rich eastern regions. They demonstrated at Awwamiya in Qatif in solidarity with the protests in Libya and Bahrain. They also demanded the release of detainees rounded up by Saudi security authorities among the two million Shiites living and working in the main oil centers of Saudi Arabia to nip potential unrest in the bud.

Friday, in the Red Sea town of Jeddah in the west, a group calling itself "Jeddah Youth for Change staged a demonstration.

The slightest sign of unrest in Saudi Arabia, the world's biggest oil exporter, is bound to affect the price of oil. Iran is the biggest beneficiary of soaring prices. Day after day, as Arab capitals are beset by popular turbulence, Tehran is watching the damage caused its economy by international sanctions shrinking.

However one looks at the situation in the Middle East, it is certain now that the world is in for a roller coaster ride to trouble.
GAS prices could very quickly go through the roof.
The nations that surround Israel WILL eventually fall to radicalism.
Israel will be completely abandoned by the WEST.
The current occupant in the White House will continue to show incredible WEAKNESS.
Jesus will be showing up at any time.
Though the outlook seems bleak, grim, and worrisome, Jehovah is in control, not allah.

Dominoes Tend to Fall

What incredible time we are witnessing! Facebook induced revolutions in Tunisia and Egypt that toppled dictators. Government-shaking protests are spreading.... Bahrain, Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia. Monarchs and dictators are quaking!
The Iranian regime is responding with violence. Bahrain is seeking help from Saudi Arabia as multitudes of Sunni Muslims join the Shia-led rebellions. Bedouins across the region are in a major uprising...and they are violent.
Meanwhile, the West joyfully watches believing these protests are the prelude to the spreading of democracy in the Arab world. Obama is taking credit. Bush lovers tout the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan as the precursors of democracy in the Middle East. It all looks so good.
Jordan too was rocked by serious street protests, a serious menace to the throne because they are staged with increasing intensity by indigenous Bedouin tribes, the traditional backbone of the Hashemite royal house. Overnight, armed tribesmen blocked Highway No. 1, the main road into the capital Amman, demanding the restoration of lands, which they claim were stolen from them over the years by the royal family and the Jordanian government.
Last week, 36 Bedouin tribal chieftains sent a letter to King Abdullah II with demands that he cede some of his ruling power including the right to appoint prime ministers and ministers and cut down on extravagant royal spending, especially by Queen Rania, when more money should be diverted to helping the poor.
Unrest against the Jordanian king has been simmering for weeks, creating a double problem for his monarchy.
According to Middle East news sources, the Bedouins are making the most noise while the Muslim Brotherhood and the majority Palestinian population are biding their time, waiting to jump in when the see the first crack in the royal stand against the disturbances.
The second problem is more serious. The Jordanian army consists of Bedouin fighters belonging to the same tribes as the protesters out on the streets. The royal security services have the same makeup. A crackdown against the demonstrations could spark a wholesale Bedouin mutiny against the Hashemite royal house or even the first Bedouin coup against a Jordanian monarch.
All of these developments leave the entire region as one massive powder keg, and the fuse has not only been lit, its fire is nearing the powder.
Prophetically speaking, the question is in all our minds. Is this the prelude to Psalm 83 (Isaiah 17 & 19, Ezekiel 25, Zephaniah 2, and Zechariah 9)? In my mind, a vacuum is being created, a void that something will step into, and I don't believe it will be democracy.

Prophetic Development?

The MAP of Psalm 83 is becoming more clearly defined by the week. According to this passage, and companion passages in Isaiah 17, Ezekiel 25, Zephaniah 2, and Zechariah 9, Lebanon will be one of those nations that join together to attack Israel. Included in that number are Syria, Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.
Up until the present, the Saudis had put forth a moderate face in their dealings in the region. Suddenly, the prospect of dealing with radicals seems to be too much for the Saudis to contemplate. They are swinging toward and attempt to actually control Hamas and Hizbollah. This places the Saudis and the Syrians at the brink of a classic struggle for control of radical Islam. However this battle ends, it will be Israel left in the cross hairs.
Saudis push Lebanese PM Hariri to quit, Lebanon near abyss
DEBKAfile Exclusive Report October 25, 2010
Saad Hariri pushed to quitIn a sudden about-face, the Saudis Monday, Oct. 25, urged Lebanon's pro-Western Prime Minister Saad Hariri to step down without delay and make way for an administration dominated by pro-Syrian ministers and Hizballah. King Abdullah, according to debkafile's Middle East and Beirut sources, sees no other way of saving Lebanon from tipping over into civil strife over Hizballah's demand to disband the international tribunal probing the 2005 murder of former prime minister Rafiq Hariri.

Last week, Hariri confided to US Deputy Secretary of State Jeffrey Feltman he was close to resigning and giving way to the Saudi King, long a friend of the Hariri family, now siding with its antagonists. When Riyadh saw he was sticking to his guns, the Saudi mouthpiece Asharq al-Awsat published an article of a sort rarely seen in the Arab media telling the Lebanese prime minister in no uncertain terms that he had choice in the matter. Chief Editor Tariq Alhomayed warned Saad Hariri that he had run out of options and the only thing left him was to follow his father's example and resign as prime minister as Rafiq Hariri did in late 2004.
(A few months later, Rafiq Hariri was assassinated in Beirut.)

Idiotic Duplicity

Talk about duplicity....
Since taking office nineteen months ago, the Obama Administration has
1. Repeatedly thrown Israel under the bus.
2. Cow towed to Islam
3. Refused to acknowledge the danger, or even the existence of Radical, Jihadist, Islam.
4. Provided billions of dollars in military equipment to the Lebanese army, which was then absorbed by Iranian backed Hizbollah.
5. Refused to do anything substantial to stop Iran from developing Nuclear Weapons
6. and turned their backs on a democratic movement in Iran, leaving them to be bloodied and executed at the hands of the radical regime of Ahmadinejad and Khamenei.

Now, Obama continues to supply members of the Psalm 83 coalition with advanced weaponry that WILL threaten Israel.

'US to sell Saudis F-15 fighter jets'
By JPOST.COM STAFF 08/09/2010

The US will sell Saudi Arabia F-15 fighter jets without long-range weapons and other advanced equipment as a result of Israeli pressure, the Wall Street Journal reported Sunday. The report states that 84 fighter jets will be supplied to Saudi Arabia over a ten year period, but these will not be as technologically advanced as those used by the US.
The $30 billion defense package is said to be one of the biggest deals of its kind to date.During months of behind-the-scenes negotiations, officials including Defense Minister Ehud Barak reportedly conveyed grave concern to the US regarding the proposed deal, on the basis that if advanced weaponry is supplied to other countries, Israel's military advantage in the region would be diminished and security would be compromised.
According to the report, Israel still has some reservations about the proposed plan, despite assurances and clarifications from US officials. However, Israel is not expected to challenge the progression of the deal. The process could start moving forward as early as next month.
The Wall Street Journal quoted Pentagon Press Secretary Geoff Morrell as saying: "We have been working very closely with the Israeli government at the highest levels to address their concerns on this and other issues."He added: "Israel is not the only one with security concerns in the region and we have responsibilities to other allies as well."

Saudis reject Obama's plan for ties with Israel

Saudi foreign minister Prince Saud al-Faisal rejected the Obama administration's Middle East approach, and that rejection was much more comprehensive than a blunt refusal to improve relations with Israel in order to restart peace talks. In closed-door talks with US leaders, including secretary of state Hillary Clinton, the Saudi prince urged the US to get off their backs on the Israeli-Palestinian issue and deal more seriously and effectively with top-urgency action for stopping Iran acquiring a nuclear bomb.

After those talks, Saud said his government would not consider steps suggested by the Obama administration until Israel accepted Arab demands "to withdraw from all occupied Palestinian territories." Ishamael continues to stiffen his neck.

With Clinton looking on at a joint State Department news conference Friday, July 31, the Saudi foreign minister dismissed Obama principles one by one: "Temporary security and confidence building measures will also not bring peace," he maintained and rejected "incrementalism and a step-by-step approach."

What is required, he said is "a comprehensive approach that defines the final outcome at the outset and launches into negotiations over final-status issues, including the future Palestinian state, control of Jerusalem, the return of Palestinian refugees, water and security." These are the very issues seen by the Jews as non-negotiable. Appeasement on any one of these issues is a direct threat to national security.

This week, the Saudis shot into action to elicit more rejections from the seven Arab rulers who received personal letters from the US president asking for their cooperation in the peace effort by normalizing gestures towards Israel. By stipulating Israel's surrender on all its core issues with the Palestinians before negotiations even begin the Saudis render those negotiations superfluous.

It means that Israel will only be asked to arrange for the technicalities and timelines for its predetermined pullback to the pre-1967 (or 1949) lines, its handover of Jerusalem to Arab control, the distribution and administration of regional water resources and the return of the refugees and their descendants to the homes they forfeited on account of the 1948 Arab war against the new Israeli state.

Two motives account for this Saudi all-or-nothing dictatorial position on Middle East peace, DEBKAfile' s analysts reports:

1. Riyadh is loath to waste effort on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict or any other elements of the Obama program such as détente with Syria when far more urgent business tops the royal agenda: The Saudis object strongly to the further entrenchment of the Shiite-ruled government in Baghdad and the restoration of Syrian influence in Beirut - both under US auspices. Washington is also seen to be making overtures towards Hizballah which can only strengthen the hand of the Lebanese Shiite extremists in the Lebanese government coalition.

Furthermore, they see the bitter rift between the Hamas rulers of the Gaza Strip and the Fatah faction governing the West Bank as irreconcilable and therefore an insurmountable barrier to Middle East peacemaking.

2. The Saudis maintain that Obama and his Middle East envoy George Mitchell have been sidetracked by minor regional issues from dealing with the primary concern of the Gulf and Middle East region, the looming threat of a nuclear-armed Iran. Until that cloud is lifted, they say, no other initiatives have a chance. Paradoxically, this reading of the Middle East impasse is shared by Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu and his defense minister Ehud Barak.

Saudi al Faisal's angry snub of the Obama administration's Middle East plans carries a clear message: First tackle the perils besetting us from the east and the north (Iraq and Iran) before you badger us about the Israelis and Palestinians. It also constitutes a probably military confrontation with Israel in the not-so-distant future. Psalm 83 gives clear evidence that the nations surrounding Israel will eventually become fed-up with the process and decide, once and for all, to solve the Jewish problem.
