President Obama meets today with Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas. The way is being prepared for a face to face meeting between the two sometime in the next couple of days. One thing Obama can now say to his friends in the Muslim world... "See, I pulled the US out of Iraq!" He forgets that his appeasement is taken as a sign of weakness by radical Islamists and will be used against our country and the Israelis. Here is a great example of why you must keep one eye on Washington and the other on the Middle East. Just don't hold the position too long our your eyes will be permanently crossed!

US Intel: Tehran pushes Hizballah hard to attack Israel

Western intelligence and Persian Gulf sources report that on August 30, Hizballah put its forces on a state of war alert and issued a partial call-up of reservists. According to debkafile's military sources, Hizballah appears to be preparing a major attack on Israel straight after the ceremonial start of Israeli-Palestinian peace talks in Washington Thursday Sept. 2. A second target date is the Jewish New Year festival starting on Sept. 8. The pressure from Tehran for the Lebanese Shiite terrorists to strike Israel has intensified in the wake of the example the Palestinian Hamas gave Tuesday night Aug. 31 in the drive-by murder of four Israeli civilians on a road near Hebron.
A large-scale attack appears to be in the works judging by the heavy influx of armed Hizballah units to southern Lebanon in the last few days. Our military sources report that they include special units trained especially for deep-strike incursions into northern Israel in response to Israeli counter-attacks.
Our intelligence sources report that the Iranian al Qods commander of Tehran's networks and surrogates in Iraq, the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian Authority has spent the last ten days in Damascus. He arrived there on August 19 in the party of Gen. Mohammad Ali Jafari, Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) chief and stayed on after his boss left the Syrian capital, apparently assigned to oversee an important terrorist or military operation against Israel.
Hizballah's own direct commander on behalf of the IRGC, Hassan Mahdavi is reported by Western intelligence sources monitoring events in Lebanon as leaning hard on Hizballah's secretary-general Hassan Nasrallah to strike IDF forces within a few days in response to US sponsorship of direct Israeli-Palestinian talks. The terrorist chief is reported to be on the verge of a decision about what target to attack and when.
Reluctant to leave the field to the Palestinian Hamas, Nasrallah is additionally badgered by a flock of IRGC officers visiting Beirut and trying to persuade Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Beri to allow his rival Shiite Amal organization to join Hizballah for the first time in a strike against Israel. They want all the Shiite streams in Lebanon to show the flag in unison as a gesture of welcome in advance of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's forthcoming state visit to Lebanon.
The date of his visit is a closely-kept secret both by Tehran and Beirut. debkafile's sources disclose that it is scheduled for Sept. 10-12 when Israel is celebrating Rosh Hashana.

ObamaRamadan is Okay with Islam

The stupidity that seems to have descended upon our nation is getting worse....thicker....deeper....wider....dumber!

The absolute worse thing that could happen in the 9/11 mosque controversy is being offered by New York governor, Gary Patterson. He has offered government land to the Imams who are seeking to build their mosque near ground zero. What happened to the "separation of church and state" that has been so often used against Christianity? This is a coup for Islam. If Patterson sets this precedent, Muslims will automatically seize the opportunity to create other "construction" turmoil and demand the same appeasements from other cities and states, thereby making it the national religion.

President's sentiments on mosque made clear

A Messianic Jewish leader and supporter of Israel thinks President Obama's recent comments made to a Muslim group clearly illustrate his sentiments are with Islam -- just as he promised in his book The Audacity of Hope.

On Friday, President Barack Obama created a firestorm when at a White House Ramadan observance he told the Muslim audience he supported the right of the developers to build a mega-mosque near the site of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. But over the weekend he added that he would not comment on the wisdom of building a mosque close to "Ground Zero."Opponents of the mosque have deemed his comment insensitive because the terrorists who struck the buildings in 2001 were Islamic extremists.Jan Markell, founder and director of Olive Tree Ministries, remembers what Obama wrote in one of his books."This is a bit of a paraphrase: 'When ill winds blow,' he said, 'I will always stand with the Muslims,'" she cites. [Editor's note - Actual quote: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."]

"I am not one who is saying that Barack Obama is a Muslim; we don't know that," the ministry leader continues. "But the fact is his sentiment is with the Muslims of the world, and his sentiment is with the Muslims of Manhattan. I'm quite sure that he would be very okay with a mosque just a stone's-throw away from 9/11."But Markell believes once Obama expressed his support for the project, he publicly backtracked because he realized that he could not be disrespectful of the families of the 9/11 victims, even though his sentiments might be with the Muslims.

Again, how do we react to these continuing stupidities?

1. Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood....so don't become bigoted and a hater of Muslims. How can we share Jesus with them if we hate them? hmm?

2. If the church had been doing its job, staying on fire for Jesus, and not watering down the truth to eliminate the inerrancy of Scripture, the moving of the Spirit, signs and wonders, and the general rules of faith and conduct, we might not be in this mess. In other words, its time for the people of the ONE TRUE GOD to repent and get back to our first love.

3. Pray--Vote--Pray some more. Then tell your neighbors, colleagues, acquaintances, and everybody else about the grace of God in Christ. People really are hungry for the truth. Don't cover your light. The time to shine is NOW!

4. Jesus IS COMING, but that doesn't mean we may not go through hard times, including all out persecution for our faith before he shows up to take us home. Suck it up...develop tough skin and a tender heart...count it a blessing to suffer for Christ.

5. Stop messing around and get faithful to the Body of Christ.... In other words, get out of bed and go to church. Soccer, baseball, football, volleyball, basketball, and tiddly winks will all pass away. What you do for the Lord by worship and service will remain forever. Get with it!

Since taking office nineteen months ago, the Obama Administration has
1. Repeatedly thrown Israel under the bus.
2. Cow towed to Islam
3. Refused to acknowledge the danger, or even the existence of Radical, Jihadist, Islam.
4. Provided billions of dollars in military equipment to the Lebanese army, which was then absorbed by Iranian backed Hizbollah.
5. Refused to do anything substantial to stop Iran from developing Nuclear Weapons
6. and turned their backs on a democratic movement in Iran, leaving them to be bloodied and executed at the hands of the radical regime of Ahmadinejad and Khamenei.

Now, Obama continues to supply members of the Psalm 83 coalition with advanced weaponry that WILL threaten Israel.

'US to sell Saudis F-15 fighter jets'

The US will sell Saudi Arabia F-15 fighter jets without long-range weapons and other advanced equipment as a result of Israeli pressure, the Wall Street Journal reported Sunday.The report states that 84 fighter jets will be supplied to Saudi Arabia over a ten year period, but these will not be as technologically advanced as those used by the US.

The $30 billion defense package is said to be one of the biggest deals of its kind to date.During months of behind-the-scenes negotiations, officials including Defense Minister Ehud Barak reportedly conveyed grave concern to the US regarding the proposed deal, on the basis that if advanced weaponry is supplied to other countries, Israel's military advantage in the region would be diminished and security would be compromised.
According to the report, Israel still has some reservations about the proposed plan, despite assurances and clarifications from US officials. However, Israel is not expected to challenge the progression of the deal. The process could start moving forward as early as next month.

The Wall Street Journal quoted Pentagon Press Secretary Geoff Morrell as saying: "We have been working very closely with the Israeli government at the highest levels to address their concerns on this and other issues."He added: "Israel is not the only one with security concerns in the region and we have responsibilities to other allies as well."

Ex-CIA chief Hayden: Military action against Iran "seems inexorable"

Ex-CIA Director Michael Hayden said Sunday, July 25, that during his tenure (under President George W. Bush), a strike was "way down the list" of options. But now it "seems inexorable" because no matter what the US does diplomatically, Tehran keeps pushing ahead with its suspected nuclear program.

Talking to CNN's State of the Union, Gen. Hayden predicted Iran would build its program to the point where it's just below having an actual weapon. In his view, "That would be as destabilizing to the region as the real thing."

debkafile's sources take this as affirmation that neither Saudi Arabia, the Persian Gulf states nor Israel will be willing to live on constant edge with an Iran which can build nuclear bombs or warheads whenever it likes. They note that Hayden has added his voice to a growing number of leading American figures and publications which have indicated in the past fortnight that the military option against Iran has climbed the top of President Barack Obama's list of priorities.

According to our Washington sources, the US president switched course after hearing Saudi King Abdullah assert explicitly: "We cannot live with a nuclear Iran."

Abdullah added he no longer believes diplomacy or sanctions will have any effect and made it clear that if the Americans continued to back away from direct action to terminate Iran's advance on a nuclear bomb, the Saudi and its allies would go their own way on the nuclear issue.

Today, therefore, the White House is no longer willing to countenance Iran's nuclear development advancing up to the threshold of a weapons capacity and stopping there. And since Tehran will never cede its prerogative to determine every stage of its nuclear program without outside interference, the only option remaining to the United States is military.

debkafile's Washington sources add that the White House was finally brought to the point of seriously considering military action against Iran, as Gen. Hayden noted - not as a result of Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's efforts at persuasion - which failed, but because of the Saudi ruler's ultimatum.

The Middle East can therefore expect far-reaching military shifts and redeployments in the coming weeks -but Israel is not likely to gain any kudos for this new development because it has lost considerable traction under the incumbent government.

Once again, it is not Israel's interest that is in the forefront of Obama's decisions....it is the Muslim World, in this case, the SAUDIS. We talk about the Genesis 12 blessing/curse for those who either side with Israel, or turn against her. Even if the president attempts to solve the Iranian nuclear problem by military force, it will not be with the intent of blessing Israel....it will be for OIL and ISLAM! This nullifies the Abrahamic blessing and pushes the USA further into the column of the Abrahamic curse. In the end, if the US acts, Israel will still be blamed by the radical jihadists. Bank on it!

Despite charm offensive, most Jews here find Obama biased against Israel

US President Barack Hussein Obama’s efforts to reach out to the people of Israel last week – when he hosted Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for a positive meeting at the White House and gave his first interview as president to an Israeli television station – were unsuccessful, according to a Smith Research poll for The Jerusalem Post.

When asked whether they saw Obama’s administration as more pro-Israel, more pro- Palestinian or neutral, just 10 percent of Israeli Jews said more pro-Israel, 46% said more pro-Palestinian, 34% said neutral and 10% did not express an opinion.

Obama's not doing so well among Americans, either. The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Friday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president, while 44% Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -17.
Just 23% now believe the federal government has the consent of the governed. Sixty-eight percent (68%) believe the nation’s Political Class doesn’t care what most Americans think.
The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve.
Overall, 46% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president's performance. Fifty-four percent (54%) disapprove.

Don't Judge by Middle Name...Judge by Actions

During an interview televised in Jerusalem, U.S. President Barack Obama told Channel 2 News on Wednesday that he believed Israel would not try to surprise the U.S. with a unilateral attack on Iran.Obama was asked whether he was concerned Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would try to attack Iran without clearing the move with the U.S., to which the president replied "I think the relationship between Israel and the U.S. is sufficiently strong that neither of us try to surprise each other, but we try to coordinate on issues of mutual concern."

During the interview Wednesday, when asked about the anxiety many Israelis feel toward him, Obama said that "some of it may just be the fact that my middle name is Hussein, and that creates suspicion." But he added: "Ironically, I've got a Chief of Staff named Rahm Israel Emmanuel. My top political advisor is somebody who is a descendant of Holocaust survivors. My closeness to the Jewish American community was probably what propelled me to the U.S. Senate," Obama said.

What he misses is how his outreach to the "Islamic World" has come at the expense of Israel's security and legitimate existence. His Cairo speech fueled radical fervor when he quoted a Koranic verse that, within the context, incites violent jijad against the Jews. His half-hearted push for sanctions against Iran demonstrated he his less than committed to Israel's security, and now it appears that Obama is becoming more comfortable with the thought of a nuclear Iran, sanctions notwithstanding.

Obama went on to say, "I think that sometimes, particularly in the Middle East, there's the feeling of the friend of my enemy must be my enemy, and the truth of the matter is that my outreach to the Muslim community is designed precisely to reduce the antagonism and the dangers posed by a hostile Muslim world to Israel and to the West," Obama went on to say. He said he believed a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians could be achieved during his current term. "I think [Netanyahu] understands we've got a fairly narrow window of opportunity… We probably won’t have a better opportunity than we have right now. And that has to be seized. It’s going to be difficult."

Again, why is this important? God's everlasting covenant to Abraham ... "I will bless those who bless you, and curse those who curse you." Whether or not we stand with Israel IS IMPORTANT. Pushing to divide the land, according to Joel 3, will hasten the approach of Armageddon. Our best course of action, if Obama continues down this path, is to pray for a spiritual awakening in America. We are in desperate need of it!

Don't Be Fooled...It's About November, Stupid!

Of course, most of the population that has the slightest inclination to be informed knows that the run to November began in 2008. But the Obama Administration is now in full campaign mode, attempting to pull a disaster out of a catastrophe for the democrat party.

Suddenly, the president is on the side of big business!

Suddenly, the president is for creating jobs. (Green, of course)

Suddenly, the president likes Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel, and actually talks about the bond being unbreakable.

YEP...NOVEMBER is in the cross hairs...as is several million Jewish votes in the United States. Though most of those "diaspora Jews" voted for Obama in 2008, his treatment of Israel has caused many bushy eyebrows to rise. Solution? Bring in Benjamin Netanyahu for a sweet photo op and ignore the dozen other less-than-friendly subs made toward Israel over the last fourteen months. Will it work? Only for the gullible. Gulp!

Jerusalem Post Editor, David Horowitz, offered this OpEd today. The wool doesn't seem to be hanging over his eyes, and he holds no illusions that the Obama Administration will continue to demonstrate love and kisses after the November mid-terms have come and gone.

Obama on Tuesday began the process of assuring us that he has our back – something absolutely essential when any leader of our tiny country contemplates ‘taking risks for peace.’

So, that’s all right then.

It’s all fixed. The president has always trusted the prime minister. The prime minister has always respected the president.
Everything we thought we knew before Tuesday, it turns out, we didn’t.
Well, not too many Israelis are buying completely into the new glossy narrative of American-Israeli relations.

It’s a little too soon to have forgotten the counter-productive White House push for a building freeze in Jerusalem and the calculatedly reinflated crisis over construction plans at Ramat Shlomo, complete with blistering public denunciation.

It’s far too soon to have forgotten the US-enabled, skewed focus on Israel at May’s NPT Review Conference.

And if Democratic Party interests ahead of November’s mid-term elections meant the vexed issue of an extended West Bank settlement moratorium was left hanging this time, it would be a foolish Israeli prime minister, indeed, who believed that he had wriggled out of that dispute, and that it would not be back at the top of the agenda next time these two leaders got together.

I do not profess to know what President Obama will do next, but patterns and attitudes have be set and are obvious. Obama is a cutthroat politician who will do anything to hold the power and position he has attained. Justice matters not (google the Black Panther issue). Illegal immigration is a way to gain a new voting block (so let's side with a Mexican law suit and sew Arizona). Let's get out those teleprompters and wow the crowds.... (gullible idiots!)

However, I do have a Biblical suggestion. Pray for the president...an awakening would help. But also pray for the peace of Jerusalem... on thinking in terms of what the president is trying to do, Pray for the PIECE of Jerusalem!

In Our Times....Helen Thomas'es are Allowed

I stand firm in believing we are living at the most pivotal time in history since the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Biblical prophecy, since 1948, has been playing out at an ever-increasing pace. In my mind I think of a locomotive starting out from the station.....slowly at first, one chug at a time, but as it picks up steam, the chugs become faster and rhythmic. Prophetically, this is exactly what has happened since Israel was recognized as a nation for the first time in 2,500 years.

America, through President Harry S. Truman, was one of the first to recognize the right of existence for the Jews and the new State of Israel. That recognition and subsequent friendship became a catalyst for the rise of the United States into world leadership. Although we sold our soul to the oil barons of Arabia, Israel remained our only true ally in the Middle East.....that is until a man with no historic American ties ascended to the White House. Not to lay all the blame on Barrack Obama, many before him began to hold Israel at arms length and use her to build some sort of legacy of peace. Jimmy Carter was the worst until recently. He has proven himself an anti-Semite of the highest proportions. Ronald Reagan could have stayed the course and used American power in Lebanon. Instead, after the Marines were violently car-bombed, he pulled out and left Israel to its own devices. George Bush the First, did very little. Bill Clinton was bamboozled by Arafat and his sweet smile. George W pressured Israel to make continual concessions on his Road Map to Peace. But it is BO that has really turned away from the covenant blessings of friendship with Israel in order to embrace the false, and deadly religion of Islam. Shame on him. Shame on us for allowing it to happen.

In other times, Hearst Newspapers White House Correspondent Helen Thomas's demand that the Jews "get the hell out of Palestine," and go back to Poland, Germany and America would have been front page news in every newspaper in the US the day after the story broke.

In other times, had the dean of the White House Correspondents Association expressed such hatred for the Jews, the White House would have immediately removed her accreditation rather than wait three days to criticize her.

In other times, the White House Correspondents Association would have expelled her.In other times, her employer - Hearst Newspapers - would have fired her.But in our times, it took days for anyone other than Jews and conservatives to condemn Thomas's vile statements to Rabbi David Nesenoff. And she was not fired. She was allowed to retire.Our times are times of Jew hatred. Our times are times when hatred breeds strategic madness. Our times are times when we need to recall basic truths about Israel and the Jewish people. Specifically, we must remember that the US is privileged to count Israel as an ally – whether Americans like Jews and our state or hate us.

The SAD COMMENTARY is that hatred for Israel is growing within the confines of a decadent administration in Washington.

Obama Seeking to talk to Hezbollah Moderates...God Help Us!

The combination of ineptitude and disdain for the traditional values that made America the greatest nation on earth, Barrack Obama continues to do the exact opposite of what he should be doing as President. Here are some examples:

Rather than forthrightly condemning North Korea for its unprovoked torpedoing of a South Korean warship, Obama sends Hillary to China in an attempt to make the boys play nice.

Rather than harness the power of the federal government to attack the forming oil-spill disaster in the Gulf, Obama puts his boot on the neck of BP and takes his wife on a romantic weekend to New York.

Rather than honor the fallen heroes of Iraq and Afghanistan by attending Memorial Day ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery (as is tradition for the sitting POTUS), Obama will spend the weekend partying in Chicago, and then honor Paul McCartney at a White House concert on Tuesday.

Now, fresh from its brilliant attempts at 'engaging' Iran and Syria, the Obama administration has the developed the clever idea to locate and build up 'moderates' in Hezbullah.

John Brennan, assistant to the president for homeland security and counter-terrorism, met with Lebanese leaders during a recent visit. "Hezbollah is a very interesting organization," Brennan told a Washington conference, citing its evolution from "purely a terrorist organization" to a militia to an organization that now has members within the parliament and the cabinet.

"There is certainly the elements of Hezbollah that are truly a concern to us what they're doing. And what we need to do is to find ways to diminish their influence within the organization and to try to build up the more moderate elements," Brennan said.

He did not spell out how Washington hoped to promote "moderate elements" given that the organization is branded a "foreign terrorist organization" by the United States.

"We don't deal with them," he acknowledged.

Yeah RIGHT! We talk with their most ideological and financial provider, Mahmoud Ahmadenijad! What a joke this White House bunch is turning out to be! The problem is the joke will be on Israel....and on all of us who hold to traditional, conservative, Godly values.

US Joins Pro-Muslim 'Alliance of Civilizations'

The Obama administration has announced the United States will join the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, another openly anti-Israel organization. The group was created in 2006 to find ways to bridge the growing divide between Muslim and Western societies – a goal wholeheartedly embraced by President Barack Obama, who has redirected American foreign policy in pursuit of the same goal.

The White House announcement stated that the move is intended to realize Obama's “vision of active U.S. engagement with other nations and international organizations,” a goal sometimes pursued, noted National Review Online columnist Brett D. Schaefer last Thursday, “even when there is little or no chance that doing so will advance U.S. interests.”

The U.S. decision is also meant to support the Alliance goal of “improved understanding and cooperative relations among nations and peoples,” the statement said.

However, the Alliance has been anything but cooperative when it comes to improving understanding of issues relating to the security of Israel's and United States' civilians.

The group claimed in its first report in 2006 that global tensions were driven primarily by the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. The same report referred to “a perception among Muslim societies of unjust aggression stemming from the West” in a discussion relating to the September 11, 2001 attacks on the United States by the international Al Qaeda terrorist group.

The US feared the organization would be Anti-Israel - in 2006
At the time, the U.S. boycotted the group, expressing concerns that it would become a forum for bashing both Israel and the United States, in a manner similar to that of the U.N. Human Rights Council. However, Obama administration officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said those concerns have since been addressed.

Since Obama took office a year ago, he has worked hard to reach out to the Islamic community of nations in a series of gestures that make it clear he is bending over backwards to strengthen ties with the Muslim world.

Since his speech from Cairo last June, Obama has reached out to Iran and Syria, restoring full diplomatic relations with Damascus and returning an ambassador to the Syrian capital. The U.S. has also joined the anti-Israel U.N. Human Rights Commission. Both these moves are reversals of prior Bush administration decisions. Though not surprising, they are definitely signs of the the times....times that are winding down quite rapidly.

Israel seems to be desperately seeking a way to avoid an all-out war. Yet, though they are offering everything from expanded borders for the West Bank, to handing over the Golan Heights to Syria, nothing seems to be working. It is time to step up our prayer for thepeace of Jerusalem.

'Syria turned down Peres peace offer'

President Shimon Peres sent a message to Syria, offering to return the Golan Heights in exchange for a promise that Damascus would sever its ties with Iran and various terrorist groups, Syrian President Bashar Assad told the Lebanese As-Safir paper in an interview published Tuesday.

Assad was quoted as saying that Peres sent the message through Russian President Dmitry Medvedev while on a visit to Russia last week. Medvedev embarked on a visit to the Middle East later that week. He visited Turkey and Syria, where he met with Hamas officials as well as Syrian ones.

The president's office issued a clarification following the publication of the interview, confirming that Peres had indeed sent a message to Assad through Medvedev, but that he had not offered to hand over control of the Golan Heights.

According to the clarification, Peres stressed in his message to his Syrian counterpart that "Israel does not plan to attack Syria, nor does it intend to cause an escalation [of tensions] in the North."

His message further stated that Israel was interested in peace and "prepared to immediately engage in peace talks with the Syrians." He added, however, that Jerusalem would "not allow Syria to continue to two-time Israel by demanding a withdrawal from the Golan Heights on the one hand while setting up Iranian missiles on the mountains of the North."

Peres further stated that Israel would not "enter into peace talks while being threatened," urging Damascus to cease its support of Hamas and Hizbullah's terrorist activity.

Oops....Brazil stepped into the fray yesterday and sent the inept Obama administration into a sanctionless tailspin. It was as if a P-52 prop fighter turned on an FA-18 multi-role attack aircraft and shot it out of the sky. Why? Pilot skills! Obama is driving an administration that is so far out of its league, both in experience and in morality, that it has little chance of doing anything but damage. Meanwhile, Mahmoud Ahmadenijad snaps photos and grins that unshaven monkey grin as he laughs in the world's face.

The Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu convened his inner cabinet in Jerusalem Tuesday, May 18, to decide how to handle the crisis created by the Brazilian-Turkish-Iranian uranium enrichment accord.
But fact is that sanctions with real bite had never been more than a will-o'-the wisp in the first place.
For months, President Obama chased the unreachable goal of unanimous UN Security Council approval of sanctions as empowerment for tough, unilateral US and European sanctions against Iran. Russia and China had circled around the draft but never climbed aboard.

Netanyahu has been holding out as long as he possibly can. Amidst calls by the Obama regime, then recently the Russians, that Israel disclose its nuclear capabilities, Netanyahu has been quietly strengthening his coalition and his position among the Israeli populace. Over 90% of Israelis now fully believe they are alone against the world. The only country to have stepped up to the plate to offer encouragement has been lowly Colombia.

How much longer can Benjamin Netanyahu exercise patience when Iran continues to enrich uranium for the bomb, Syria continues to funnel arms and rockets into Lebanon, Gaza reloads, and the American administration fades into irrelevance? My guess is it won't be long!

Palestinians Massage Obama's Ego by Asking Him to be their MESSIAH

Roadside signs have been posted in areas of Judea and Samaria occupied by the Palestinian Authority in recent days beseech President Barack Hussein Obama II to be their Moses, redeeming and liberating them. The signs read: "Barack Obama, free us from slavery, occupation and the settlements."

The messianic signs are part of a "Dear Barack" campaign that also includes emailing letters to the White House. The PA's Wafa news agency reports that thousands of PA residents have been sending personal emails to Obama's address every day, encouraging him to intervene on their behalf. "Only free people can free us from the slavery and humiliation, and history will judge them as heroes," the emails state.

The campaign was the brainchild of a local radio station, which reportedly got the idea following an interview with a member of Fatah's Revolutionary Council, Israel National News reported.

If Obama is the Messaiah it might explain why he has not presented an original birth certificate and why, as is reported today, he lacks a valid US Social Security number.

Iran test-fires same missiles as handed to Hizballah


Iran wound up its biggest ever naval exercise, Velayat 89, Wednesday, May 12, by simultaneously firing 30 short-range, surface-to-surface Fajr missiles of the same types as the brand-new, advanced weapons in the Lebanese Hizballah's armory, debkafile's military sources report. The display was Tehran's way of advising Israel of the heavily upgraded capabilities Hizballah has in store for the Jewish state and also responding to the big war game Israel conducted on its northern borders from Sunday through Thursday, May 9-12.
Compared with earlier models, the new Fajr-5 is more accurate and carries a bigger payload. The types Hizballah used against northern Israeli in 2006 had a range of 75 kilometers, reaching as far as Hadera, 45 kilometers short of Tel Aviv and the Jezreel Valley on the southern fringes of Galilee. The version fired in the Iranian exercise could reach deeper into Israel's heavily populated regions, around Netanya and Herzliya, at a distance of 110 kilometers from the Lebanese border.
The new Fajar 5 is also highly mobile and usable at short notice.
In their exercise, the Iranians also fired the older Fajar 3 ("Dawn") missile, which has been in the Hizballah arsenal since before 2006. Their range has been extended from 45 to 70 kilometers.
Wednesday, too, Brig. Gen. Nissim Peretz, head of the IDF Logistics Division, disclosed that Israel's armed forces had begun dismantling the large logistics bases holding munitions, weapons, fuel and provisions stores and scatterng them among smaller and better protected facilities.
This is in line with the advance preparation of the home front for missile attack in potential war hostilities. Brig. Peretz explained that the relocation of these vital military facilities would ensure the IDF's ability to fight without interruption and have supplies of essentials available - even when under missile assault.
Just as the home front must be prepared to sustain attack, said the officer, so too must military installations to the rear be secured in good time.

NEW YORK — Police found a car bomb in a parked sport utility vehicle Saturday evening in New York City's Times Square, then evacuated buildings and cleared thousands of tourists from the landmark.“

It appears to be a car bomb left in a Pathfinder between Seventh and Eighth,” said Deputy Commissioner Paul J. Browne, the Police Department’s chief spokesman. The device, he said, contained “explosive elements” that included “propane tanks, some kind of powder, gasoline and a timing device.”Police now believe a catastrophe was averted by technical failure of the explosive device.

The White House said Sunday that President Barack Obama was being kept up to date on the investigation into the apparent car bomb found in New York City's Times Square.White House spokesman Nick Shapiro said in a statement that Obama, who attended an annual gala dinner Saturday night for White House news correspondents, praised the quick and effective response by the New York Police Department.

'We avoided what could have been a very deadly event.' New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said at a news conference early on Sunday, "we are very lucky, thanks to alert New Yorkers and professional police officers. We avoided what could have been a very deadly event." The mayor went on to say a suspicious vehicle in Times Square "did indeed contain an explosive device.".
Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said at the same news conference the car contained three propane tanks, consumer-grade fireworks, two filled 5-gallon (19-liter) gasoline containers, and two clocks with batteries, electrical wire and other components. He said a black metal box resembling a gun locker was also recovered.Police were investigating a report that someone was seen running from the vehicle, a Nissan Pathfinder, at some point and were reviewing security videotapes, a police spokesman said.

NOW....LET ME GET THIS STRAIGHT....I thought that if we talked nicely to them, removed such vitriolic words such as "terrorism," "radical Islamist," or "really bad guys" from our lexicon,these people would play nice with us. What happened to that?

When is our leadership going to wake up and realize that radical Islam hates us because WE ARE NOT AN ISLAMIC REPUBLIC? The real question should be....WILL we wake up and realize the above? This president is bent on talking or spending all problems to death. The result will be the death of Israelis and Americans.

On a better note: Israel has a friend. This week, the President of Colombia sent a letter to Benjamin Netanyahu expressing his countries firm and lasting friendship with Israel. Colombia is a country plagued by radical terrorists. It has also been diplomatically slapped repeatedly since Barrack Obama's regime took control of the US government. I truly believe Colombia will reap a blessing that the United States is throwing away!

True Intentions--The Community Organizer at Work

Palestinian Authority President, Mahmoud Abbas, has no intentions of coming to the table with peace on his mind.

As reported by the Jerusalem Post today:
"While Israel and the Palestinian Authority are finally expected to begin US-mediated indirect “proximity” talks in the very near future, concern is growing among some in the Israeli government that the PA is planning to marginalize the diplomatic process and instead unilaterally seek UN recognition for a Palestinian state along the pre-1967 lines. There is a rising conviction among some in the Netanyahu government, The Jerusalem Post has learned, that the PA is aiming to secure a new UN Security Council Resolution, updating 1967’s Resolution 242, providing for the establishment of Palestine and fudging the refugee issue. The idea of such a move, runs the bleak assessment, would be to establish a state not at peace with Israel, but rather to continue the conflict with Israel."

Other intentions are becoming clear as well. The stated intent of Barrack Obama has been to administer "biting" sanctions against Iran in order to force it to curb their nuclear ambitions. Warnings and deadlines (with consequences) have been issued over and over again. Iran has laughed, scoffed, and mocked each one, or it has manipulated our community organizing president. As they outmanuever the President at every turn, Obama will not even respond when provoked.

The US Fifth fleet and USS Eisenhower refrained from shooting an Iranian spy plane collecting intelligence from the American carrier on April 21 because they are under orders not to respond to hostile Iranian acts without permission direct from Washington. Gulf governments fear US military passivity will encourage Tehran to be bolder and more provocative, emulating Pyongyang which got away scot-free with sinking a South Korean vessel.

Now, the community organizer in chief is pushing for the UN to finally administer sanctions. However, these sanctions against Iran include certain exemptions for Russia and China, just so these two countries don't veto the resolution when it comes before the Security Council.

So, help me understand. We want Iran to be sanctioned, but we are going to give exemptions to Russia......the same Russia that is providing the financing, expertise, and personnel for the building of Iran's nuclear facilities.....so that somehow, Iran will stop doing what they are doing?

We are going to give exemptions to China....the same China that is buying Iranian oil, refining it into gasoline, then re-selling it to Iran making a huge profit....so that China can continue supplying Iran with needed fuel for its economy?

Wow....Another Obama Masterpiece. This community organizing stuff makes a person sit back and say SHAZAM! Wish I'd thought of that!

In the meantime, Israel is left hanging out in the wind all because it wanted to build a few apartments in its own territory, within the confines of the capitol city it has owned for three thousand years. In fact, the community organizer in chief is even forwarding the notion of sanctions against Israel.... and I bet those sanctions will actually have some "bite" to them.

Request for Imposition of Peace...Is Big Brother Listening?

It seems that Barrack Obama may be backing off a bit on the ridiculous demands he placed on Israel to cease building in East Jerusalem. Now, to attempt to save his peace plan, Obama is asking that Israel delay any new permits for four weeks.

Israel offers a large concession, and the Palestinians reject it. Instead, they are requesting, probably with huge threats of escalation in violence, that Obama impose a solution on Israel. debkafile's Washington sources report that the US Middle East peace envoy George Mitchell presented Israeli prime minister Binyamin Netanyahu Friday, April 23, with a compromise by the Obama administration on Jerusalem. Instead of a freeze on all Israeli construction in East Jerusalem, Israel is now asked to quietly suspend all building licenses and other permits for just four weeks, to give Mitchell a chance to persuade the Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas to accept US-moderated proximity talks. The White House came forward with this concession, those sources said, to help clear the air in the president's relations with the Israeli prime minister.

Yet Mitchell ends yet another mission to Jerusalem and Ramallah Sunday, April 25, without breaking new ground. Our Washington and Jerusalem sources report that, notwithstanding the Israel government spokesman's denial, the prime minister did in fact submit to Abbas a secret offer to agree on temporary borders for a Palestinian state on 60 percent of the West Bank. Hoping the offer would go far toward melting the Palestinian leader's resistance to negotiations, Mitchell returned to the Middle East for yet another bid to get them moving.

In the event, Abbas turned the offer down because it came directly from the prime minister - not through the Americans and minus US guarantees. He appealed directly to President Barack Obama to "impose" a solution on the Middle east conflict.

Speaking to members of his Fatah party, he said: “Mr President and members of the American administration, since you believe in this [an independent Palestinian state], it is your duty to take steps toward a solution and to impose this solution."
The flood of pro-Israeli rhetoric from administration officials in the last few days and its willingness to yield partially on Jerusalem is not taken by most American Jewish leaders as a true change of Barack Obama's Middle East policy but rather a PR campaign. Saturday night, April 24, some of them warned that the White House feels the need to ease the crisis marring the atmosphere in its relations with Jerusalem and American Jews without, however, revising its fundamental Middle East policy, which is intrinsically detrimental to Israel.

Some high-placed official sources are also critical of Netanyahu's approach to America's drive for peace talks with the Palestinians. They complain the Israel prime minister insists that every issue is cleared with him in person and holds his closest aides, including his national security adviser Uzi Arad, back from efforts to seek out common ground with their American counterparts. US officials are aware that defense minister Ehud Barak, who arrives in Washington Sunday for eight days of talks with top American officials, will not be speaking for the prime minister and has not been authorized by him to hold discussions with the Obama administration.
